I genuinely believe fully that Chuuya will save Dazai from the elevator. Not because I’m a delusional soukoku shipper (I am) but because Asagiri has spent so many chapters and two light novels setting up this idea that Dazai and Chuuya are partners and that at the end of the day, Dazai has a plan to same them both.
Even if this time he doesn’t have a plan, it’s well established that Dazai and Chuuya will always do everything in their power to save each other so I don’t see why that wouldn’t extend to this.
