This is a recent illustration of Sol but, unusually, he’s in his first outfit. I painted this to return to the original visual theme of Sol, “rugged with a brush of sex appeal,” but I feel like I have fallen one step short of it. Someday, everyone will be sexy! I would like to present to the world a Sol that people think of positively. Nevertheless, I really like this picture a lot.
