Inktober day 4
Inktober 2022 - Extinct Edition 🦖
I’m going a bit off script prompt-wise, but if it’s one thing I’ve learned from doing this Inktober thing, it’s draw what you’re excited about! I’ve gone to many awesome natural history museums lately and just got inspired. Paleontology was also my first job interest when I was a kid, so this year is a trip back in time for me, and the species that populated the earth long before us.
**cue Jurassic Park theme music**
There’s a rad little natural history museum tucked away in Anniston AL and I took an unhealthy amount of reference photos of the taxidermy.
My goal is to completely fill this sketchbook with illustrations from the museum fauna.
Because then you have beans : )
Drawing little things. Crawling out of a funk.
Risk.
If you want to howl with laughter instead of fright this Halloween, I cannot recommend ‘What We Do In The Shadows’ more. Though you may risk not being able to unsee well…this.
Slither.
I don’t often freak myself out with a drawing, but when I do, it’s Hannibal Lecter. Can’t turn your back on this one.
Patch.
Because we need more Robin and also e m o t i o n s.
Crispy.
Yea I don’t think I would have survived getting dragged through the desert like Blondie.
☀️☠️☀️
Spark.
Like the drink, only spelled different.
Connect.
Man, high school is rough. Kids are mean. But deep down we could all connect over something, right?
Splat.
Whoops 😬
That’s not gonna wash out.
Extinct.
Yep, we’re dead.
