it's just. i wanted this so badly. for the fans, for the city, for the club, for the team. for every single one of them but especially for marco. to have something you desperately want so close to you and it still gets ripped away is a specific kind of cruelty. it's probably a mix of love and insanity to still choose this club over and over again, despite the heartbreak and clown behavior. and yet it would've been nice to reward all those years of loyalty.
