Can I just muse on the irony that the SJWs who sneer at “white boys” for disliking when their fave iconic superheroes get brushed aside in the name of diversity, are frequently some of the same people who hate that Hispanic-American Sam Alexander replaced white Richard Rider as being Nova.

Enh. The Nova Corps is a corps, or was. For me, it's less about being replaced and more that Marvel unnecessarily killed off a character that I've read over a hundred appearances of. If it was the other way around, I'd want Sam back.

Someone doesn't know how team books work, that the creator of Aracely is the one helming this book, what an Inhuman is, has poor reading skills (they've said the name Selah more than Sun Girl) and is just generally Missing The Point. Even the points about Hummingbird and Scarlet Spider's codenames are inaccurate. Hummingbird was trying to get Kaine to use that codename for her in Scarlet Spider, and her excitement about being a hero and insistence that he was one was also evident then.

Welp, we know they’re over 21 since we’ve seen them drinking. Let’s see if we can figure this out.

In Marvel comics, three to four years in our world is basically the equivalent of one year in Marvel time. They were fifteen and sixteen (Vance might have been seventeen) when New Warriors started in 1990. So twenty four years later is the equivalent of 6 or 7 years in Marvel. Meaning Robbie is approximately 22 and Vance is approximately 23 or 24.

Chris Yost has said on Twitter that both boys are "college-aged", with Robbie being on the young side.  Though this estimate falls in line with the drinking scene in "I Am an Avenger."
