My name is unique. I can confidently say that not only am I pretty sure there is no one else with my given name/family name combo on the planet, I’m pretty sure there never has been. I am the only [name] that has ever lived.

So tell me in the tags please, how common your full name is, whether you’ve ever encountered someone with the same name, and (if applicable) what it’s like seeing celebrities or people in the news or whatever who have your name.

I understand that everyone has different experiences while working out in a public setting based upon strangers perceptions of them. I too have had bad experiences. While they are sometimes funny, bad experiences get more attention than positive ones. So for a change:

While I was setting up today a young man stopped me to offer his machine up in case I "preferred it". It was a very nice gesture. Maybe he knows I'm a geriatric old man? Either way, I politely told him to "fuck off!" and then warmed up with his max.

Imo the “bad boy who’s only nice secretly/after you get through his layers” trope in media functions as propaganda designed to get you to second guess yourself and your experiences in order to give bad men a chance. Some things need to be taken at face value and if he treats people like shit he is in fact a bad person even if he’s nice to you sometimes. Stop looking for hidden meaning and depth in his actions. He’s not misunderstood he’s just an asshole and it’s not your job to shovel through the shit to get to the disappointing “good” parts

I had a protein shake yesterday! FUCK! I couldn't figure out why I'm all fucked up today.
