they have all stopped calling and they don’t pick up their phones they don’t want to clean up your messes anymore and they don’t ask when visiting hours are because it’s too sterile and it’s too real in the ward you’re in they kept saying that this was all going to be okay but they didn’t stick around once the next wave hit because silence is easier than not knowing what to say and it’s healthier to block your number than to hear your slurred pleas at four a.m. this was once all in your head but now you’ve burned your bridges again and there’s nothing left to reconstruct this time

Depression in summer is weird. It’s not dark and brooding, for me - it’s white and hazy and confusing. You feel very absent from everyone and everything. And all the light seems a little too bright for your tired eyes.

Small & Funny BPD ‘Things’

  • Getting mad when people are given more attention than you
  • Refusing to talk to anyone then getting upset when no one talks to you
  • Being compared to a “lost puppy” or a five year old
  • Getting scared everyone hates you no matter what they say
  • Lashing out for something small
  • Crying
  • More crying
  • Loving yourself then hating yourself two seconds after
  • Wanting attention all the time but only from certain people
  • Being overwhelmed with hatred and anger then overwhelmed with love and happiness five minutes later
  • Feeling empty all the time
  • Not remembering things you’ve said while angry
  • Thinking you’re making your mental illness up
  • Wanting to beat up other people but also wanting yourself to be beat up because you’re a horrible person
  • But you’re also the best person alive and deserve the world
  • Wanting attention and will go to extremes for it
  • Not knowing what triggered a mood swing or impulse
  • Getting extremely jealous easily over something small
  • Pushing people away then getting upset

I fucking hate it when you’re in such a fantastically giddy mood and then you see one simple little thing that makes you think, “oh” and then you just get this empty feeling in your chest and you get nauseous and the world just crumbles and you want to just lay under a blanket and close your eyes and fall asleep and never wake up.
