i. You are beautiful. No, not pretty. No, not like just the flowers. You are beautiful like the ocean. Deep and full of hidden beauty underneath. ii. You are the best thing that happened to me. Like a celebration, like a feast. You are a daily event that I would never get tired of. You made everything worth the fight. iii. You are enough. Or more than enough. Like an overflowing excellence. Whatever you do is magic to my eyes, you are magically clearing out hates and curses. iv. You are a gift from God. A spinning cloud of surprises. You are a gift. You are my present and we are the future. v. You can do it. You are the most beautiful competitive beast. Go on, reach for the stars, no one can stop you.

there’s so many people on this earth; so many souls, so many bodies. and somewhere out there, there’s someone who holds your heart in their hands. if you’re lucky, you’ll find them, and wear your heart on your sleeve instead of in their hands, with admiration in your eyes and kindness in your heart.

tell your daughter she’s strong. tell her you’re proud of her for ignoring all of their cruel words. tell her that you’ll love her no matter what; that whatever happens she will be okay. tell her that she’s worth it, and that no one will ever decrease her worth. after her first heartbreak, tell her it will be okay; that the right person will appear as soon as she opens her eyes. when she wakes up from a nightmare, hold her in your arms no matter how big she is, and stroke her hair whispering little secrets in her ear. after she weighs herself, tell her the number doesn’t matter, and encourage her to begin believing in herself. treat her with the same privileges and drawbacks guys get, and tell her you’ll love her despite what she looks like, and what body she’s in. tell her you’ll love her no matter who she loves. encourage her to voice her opinions, and strengthen her voice. be there for her when she can’t think of continuing, and help her up when she falls. when she’s in bed crying over all of life’s mistakes, crawl in bed next to her and hug her. when you know it won’t all be okay, tell her it will be, because that’s how much you love her.

Dance is bigger than the physical body. Think bigger than that. When you extend your arm, it doesn’t stop at the end of your fingers, because you’re dancing bigger than that: you’re dancing spirit.

today is not just another day. someone might be walking for their first time. someone might be chewing their first apple. someone might be celebrating because they survived a very impossible surgery. someone could be proposed today. someone might be someone’s bride today. someone might be experiencing their first roller coaster ride. and you might be in your room, thinking, wow its just another day. but its not just another day.

We started to dance with the music under the moonlight. With the reflection of the moon gleaming on the dark ocean water. We danced as if we had no cares in the world and our only problem would be when the song ended. We looked up at the stars and within the blink of an eye the moment was over and all we had was the memory of the moment. A moment we would never forget but never relive in the same way.
