FERAL KITTENS NEED HELP!!!
I just found out a stray cat in my neighborhood had kittens… The shelter will take them if we pay a fee of $100 for the kittens and possibly can also adopt out the mother for another $50. I will pay regardless but-
These kittens can’t be over a few weeks. This is a busy neighborhood and we have a raccoon that lives in our yard. They are NOT safe here. They are friendly and adoptable so they deserve good homes. There are at least 3 kittens and the mother.
UPDATE: They’re getting much more used to people already, and if we can cover costs for their shots they can be adoptable!!! It’s the mother and at least 4 kittens. As you can see by the quality of my photos, I’ve gotten much closer to them and mom isn’t concerned at all.
But we have a raccoon that lives nearby, and tonight I watched it attack them in their den… Mom fended it off, but the kittens scattered. We just have to pray we can befriend and catch them before they get hurt or killed, and then a shelter will take them and we can pay for their medical with any donations.

Note: If we can’t end up catching them and getting them to the shelter, all these donations will be given to the local non-kill shelter anyway to help their other animals.
UPDATE!!! Mama is getting friendlier! We can almost pet her. Hoping to get them caught and sheltered soon! Any donations will be helpful not only for their shots but also for food/bedding/supplies to help them get acclimated before they can find homes!
UPDATE!! We were provided with a trap to catch them with! Kittens will be cared for by a shelter and once we catch mom we have a potential adopter for her! She would need all her shots and to be spayed, which the lady said would be “a couple hundred dollars”. Thank you all for the support so far!
The water bottle and string are for a pull-trap, which we will set up once we lure them in with food.

I may try to open my patreon again this summer... just for a little extra financial help, nothing crazy, much much lower pledges, just for the weekly stories and updates and maybe a request or two here and there. Keep an eye out if you may be interested in that.
