Voices of Children is an NGO assisting children displaced or affected by war
Woman Perspective assists women who were victims of domestic abuse or other discrimination
Help the Homeless and Suka Zhizn are two organizations helping homeless people around Ukraine
Happy Old, Let’s Help, and Starenki help the elderly, from visits, education, medicine, to free groceries

If you are looking for an emergency exit from Ukraine, Poland will open EIGHT safety points on the border with Ukraine (you will get warm food, medical help and from there you will be guided to safety) in two of our voivodeships: lubelskie and podkarpackie. It is confirmed by the Polish Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Paweł Szefernaker.

If you can't donate, here are a few ways to support AAPI communities:
- Check in with your API friends and colleagues
- Don't use anti-Asian rhetoric
- Speak and stand up for the Asian American community
- Amplify API stories
- Support Asian businesses
- Tell your leaders from local to federal level to denounce racism
There are many other ways to help us, but these steps are a start.

I want to rage, to erase this crushing sense of helplessness in my lungs. To snarl instead of sobbing. I wanted to be shocked at this injustice. To be surprised and treat this as a horrific incident and not just a symptom of a bigger problem.
But I've witnessed how racist bigots reacted to Floyd, the instinctive racist response and "jokes" when people identified China as the one who was at fault with the whole COVID-situation, and how I immediately thought that those "low-key" racist thoughts will escalate someday to deadly actions. I listened to some of my friends when they said that I'm exaggerating.
And I wish- I wish I was. I wished that they were right and I was wrong. But look at our bloodied history. Look at where we are now.
One step forward, eight bloody steps back.
