I know it’s not hard to point out reactionaries hypocrisy when it comes to like safe spaces or hug boxes or whatever but genuinely how much of an echo chamber do you have to exist in for you to think this is a reasonable thing to say
reblog if attacking fascism is really the hill you want to die on
this is literally like one of the most justified and honorable hills you could die on??? lol??
Who wants to see a pug mix dog that scared me
Terrific

BTW I found out abt this dog because the Ottawa humane society's camera broke so they uploaded mspaint drawings of the dogs. And when I saw this dogs painting I first thought the amateurish proportions were a silly and wonderful artistic feature:
No. This is a still life
what creative freedom does to a bitch
the angry spirit of character design possessed me
Art belongs to me
do not steal/trace/copy or i get you

people are absolutely EVIL about the boundaries of “picky eaters”. no, they do not have to try it. yes, they can know they don’t like it without having eaten it before. no, they probably have not suddenly grown a taste for the food they’ve said they hate. no, they probably are not going to like it in the Special Way This One Place Cooks It. yes, you are being a bad friend if you try to “trick” them into eating it anyway
Things that actually help picky eaters try new things:
- “Do you want to try this off of my plate?”
- “It’s made of [ingredients], I think you’d like [x part]”
- “If you want to see if you like [x food], this is pretty good representation of it”
- “You won’t like this, it tastes like [description]. Do you want to try it for fun?”
- “Do you remember trying/have you ever tried [x food]? This is like that, but [differences]”
- “I think you’d like the taste of this, but the texture is iffy. It’s [description]”
- Make sure there’s other food they can eat if they don’t like the new one
And most importantly, build trust with that person by listening to them, showing that you take their concerns into account, and being cool if the answer is no. No is always an option. This isn’t something you do once, it’s a pattern you have to stick to if you want to establish that you are a safe person when it comes to food stuff
Basically: offer the food, explain what’s in it and why you think it’s worth trying, and then be cool with the answer you get. No pressure, no trickery, just be straight up with people
who is the half ??? half leshy oc that i see appearing once in a while? they look really interesting.
I'm really really glad you asked!!
Her name is Beryozka – it means Birch tree, and she started off as a joke :D
Originally, she was designed with the idea of her being my "bushsona", and this was her first design:
Just a funky lil girl with birch branches in her head! she's wearing old faith robes like the heretics we usually meet (and kill) on crusades in the game.
but later on I've realized that she could be something better than a sona. I decided to give her some character traits, a bit of a backstory and a potential to gain her own storyline.
I gave her strong loyalty towards her leader, Leshy.
Beryozka was so used to living under his guidance and protection that she was simply unable to move on when he was killed. She'd spend her days by the remains of his statue, persistently protecting what was left of it, of him and of her memories about the past life.
When the lamb showed up, she was ready to fight with them till death.
Eventually she was forced to join the Lamb's cult, where she'd find out that Leshy was resurrected - and he was no longer mighty and powerful. That really affected her in all ways.
I really want to explore how her story might go, from changing and adapting her beliefs to switching her perspective on Leshy - going from idolizing him in awe to getting to know him under the circumstances of Lamb's cult.
so yeah I really hope you'll stick around and see more content with her :D
Let me know if you're interested in this character by reblogging this post <3
