✨ alphabet sketchbook #4! ✨
this is my fourth abc sketchbook where i use a vintage address book and draw/collage something that starts with the letter on each tab! this one took the longest by far because of how long P for Pop-Up took to make. i might make a separate post just of that page to show more angles and how it opens/closes. this was also a pretty solid book so it didn't need any repairs! i'm proud of how this one turned out!

this is my third abc sketchbook where i use a vintage address book and draw/collage something that starts with the letter on each tab! i had to do a good bit of repair work on this one. the plastic on the cover was in pieces and the booklet was tearing off the cover, so i took it all apart, replaced the broken plastic with acetate, reinforced the paper, and painted a little picture! (apple, blueberry, clementine for abc) then i taped the original photo that was in the cover to the first inside page!

this is a project i've been working on since october 2022. using vintage address books, i draw/collage something that starts with the letter on the tab for that page! this was my first book, and since then i've done three total, currently working on my fourth! i usually post pages individually on my insta/twitter as i go, and when i finish, i make a closure with some kind of string and a bead. :)
