he never imagined he'd show anyone this side of himself. but when it's you, he can't help but show you everything.

a/n: starting the side character writing off with a bang! this is part two of the first sign of affection.

diavolo; he falls asleep around you.

the future king of devildom takes everything in stride. from RAD problems to royal affairs, diavolo has it all covered. but sometimes, even the ruler himself finds himself on the panicked side. he begins to seek you out when he finds himself standing on anxiety's edge; your presence relaxes him to the point where he can't fight off the tiredness that clings. as the papers get signed, diavolo's eyes start to droop, and he doesn't notice the way you shift yourself closer to catch him. he falls asleep on your shoulder before he knows it, and you allow him to rest as long as he needs.

later, when he stirs and lifts his head to look at you, you quickly coax it back to where it was, sending his heart racing. "go back to sleep, you need it."

"... thank you." diavolo relishes in the way your hand combs through his hair, taking a moment to breathe a sigh of relief.

he watches you flip through your homework, his gaze following your pen as you scribble across the page. it's not long before he decides he can't hold back anymore, and eventually makes his way over to you. he places his hands on your shoulders, letting you know he's there, before he nips lightly at the base of your neck.

"wha- belphie! what was that for?!" you cry out, your face beginning to flush.

belphegor smiles at you, his eyes soft yet mischievous. "figure it out yourself."

it's not uncommon for you to be the one who wakes the youngest in the mornings. belphegor has had centuries of practice of sleeping through his brothers yelling voices, so who else better to wake him up than you? you decide to test how quickly you can wake him up, and there's no faster technique than a kiss. waiting for his eyes to flutter open, you call belphegor's name softly, watching for the moment he pushes himself off the bed. still groggy, he blinks slowly at you, eyes remaining half closed. at least, until you press a light peck on his nose. the avatar of sloth shoots out of bed in record speed, one hand pressed to his mouth and the other clutching at his chest.

"what was that?!" belphegor shouts at you, backing into a wall.

you shrug nonchalantly, a smile tugging at the corners of your mouth as you turn on your heel and head out the room. "just wanted to try something out."

Lucifer had, of course, went to visit you- and you just so happened to be in an empty classroom at the time. He found you rather easily, almost having a sixth sense for your presence. Standing behind you, he watched as read some words from a textbook before writing down an answer.

He then leans down to whisper in your ear, to teasingly praise you for your hardwork, when you turn your head to the side at just that moment— your lips brushing over his.

Mammon: Okay MC! Who's the best kisser?

Asmo: Obviously it's me~

“is everything all right?” lucifer asks peering at you from across the table. the others have stopped talking to turn and look at you, worried about you.

“yeah …mh sorry” you nod bringing your gaze to mammon. he has a smile on his lips as he resumes tapping his fingertips along your inner thigh.

he looks at you maliciously running his hand under your skirt, “everything alright, angel?” he whispers in your ear, bending slightly to avoid attracting his brothers’ prying eyes.

Learning to Comfort

Belphegor, despite being the Avatar of Sloth, always had a hard time sleeping at night. Maybe it was his habit of napping so much during the day, but regardless of the cause, the youngest Avatar of Sin was the House of Lamentation's resident insomniac.

He long accepted this title. It gave him the freedom to bask in the silence of the Hall without Mammon or Asmodeus there to pester him and gave him plenty of time to fuck with Lucifer's shit.

It was the very title that meant he was awake to hear a set of hurried footsteps run down the hall above him.

He frowned silently to himself, quickly tucking away one of Lucifer's favourite books amongst a variety of similar-looking tomes in the back shelves of the library before taking off upstairs to investigate. He reached the top of the staircase just in time to see the bathroom door slam shut at the end of the hall

Being with Asmo was borderline perfect; he was an angel of a demon, if you overlooked his crazy parties and the tendency to voice just about every dirty thought coming to mind. With you though, he was always gentle and very patient. Sure, Asmo being Asmo, he has always been very straightforward about how much he wanted you, both in- and outside the bedroom, but he had always reassured you that he loved you no matter what and was willing to wait for you to be comfortable with taking things further.
