makes me so eepy

especially with his sister in the public eye it feels important to say. the loss of a loved one is an incredibly private matter and i hope we can collectively give the people he was close with space to get through this however they see fit. i don't want to see zoom-ins on peoples' faces to analyze if they have been crying or any judgements on someone's person based on their decision to work or not work for a while

the only thing that's getting me through the week is knowing that Joel Miller & TLOU are waiting for me at the end of it

11/09/1973. Santiago de Chile.

Today we mourn the 49th anniversary of the coup staged and financed by the united states in cooperation with the right wing, against the elected socialist president Salvador Allende, who was killed in the attack and replaced by the military dictatorship of pinochet. More than 40.000 were tortured. At least 3.000 were killed and dissappeared, and the social fabric of the country was destroyed in a 17 year long dictatorship.

The people remember. The people mourn. Like a famous cuban poet sang:

It isn't dead. They couldn't kill it. Not with the distance, not with the vile soldier.
