The counter argument of simple minds is always “how much did YOU donate”, which is stupid because you have no clue what resources people have or give.

The real point is that his act is purely an act because he’s actively creating policies that fuck over the exact ppl he’s pretending he’s tossing spare change at.

Do people even know what makes a net worth? It’s all of your assets. Not just how much money you have. So trump having a net worth of 10 billion doesn’t mean he had ten billion dollars. It means all of his assets are worth ten billion. One million dollars is a lot of money to donate nobelium matter how much money you have. He’s also the president and he went to look at the devastation from the hurricane.

Like… you are literally willing to sit back and watch people suffer by no fault of their own just because of who they may or may not have voted for. Just think about that.

This shit is getting out of hand. Get over yourselves and show some fucking compassion for your fellow fucking Americans. If you don’t like our president, that’s fine. That’s your right as an American. But how bout you stop being bitter assholes and do something productive and positive with your time.

We can do better than this. How bout instead of complaining about the amount of money people are donating, we take the example, we thank the gracious people for their generosity, and we act like true Americans and we work together to help a city in need. For the love of God.
