I never enjoy anything. I’m always waiting for whatever’s next. I think everyone’s like that..living life in fast-forward. Never stopping to enjoy the moment. Too busy trying to rush through everything so we can get on with what we’re really supposed to be doing with our lives. I get these flashes of clarity, brilliant clarity, where for a second I stop and I think “Wait, this is it. This is my life. I better slow down and enjoy it because one day we’re all gonna end up in the ground and that’ll be it. We’ll be gone.”

Emma: I’m not going to communicate with Julian about the parabatai curse and come to a solution. Instead, I think it would be best If i emotionally destroy him and date his brother. Then, after we are both intensely and unnecessarily miserable, I can tell Julian that it was just a joke and everything will be fine and back to the way things were before.

“You could win a war,” he said confidently. Emma felt a little tightening around her heart. When Julian looked at her like that, like she was brilliant and amazing, it made the missing-her-parents ache in her heart a little less. Magnus and Alec definitely have a significant appearance in LoS. Kieran and Mark’s relationship definitely develops, but it is quite complicated!
