BEHOLD these beautiful dragon-themed plates from 15th-century Spain! These most likely come from the town of Manises, which was renowned for its lusterware. This type of pottery was heavily influenced by Islamic pottery, and the Spanish artisans who made these plates included both Muslims and Christians.
But anyway, DRAGONS!
These images come from the Metropolitan Museum of Art collection on JSTOR, which includes nearly half a million open access images for everyone.

this beautiful sgraffito is hidden in the middle of nippes. in keeping with the season, it depicts a goose migration, although in the rhineland, too, geese now often stay here in winter. in this respect, too, it is a glimpse of times gone by.
Laciéknak nem sikerült linkelni a 2021-es vonatkozó anyagom az aknamentesítési feliratokról (a 24 főoldalát igen), szóval itt van, ni. A városban minimum tíz másikról van fotóm, a helyeket legszebben a csodálatos Sajó Tamás gyűjtötte össze tíz éve a Wang folyóra.
A Hollán Ernő utcai az MKP vezet az újjáépítésben sem egyedi, 2017-ben sem látszott már belőle több, mikor én írtam róla. A link mögött lévő archív Street View-képeken még ott a közepe is! Plusz egy tőle pár méterre lévő másik.
(Utóbbiakból volt egyébként dögivel, a Victor Hugo-Pozsonyi saroknál lévő pár éve tűnt el, a Google utcaképén még látszik, ha visszalapoztok a korábbi felvételekre. És a Váci út 48/e-f. falára 1946-ban felpingált darabról pont tegnapelőtt posztoltam FB-n.)
Ja, és a Százados úti művésztelep bejáratán is van ám csoda, csak az idézet alól kedvesen letörölték, kinek a szájából is hangzott el a sokak számára ismert mondat.
