After much deliberation, I have made the decision to change the spelling of my surname from Grey to Gray. Here's why:
Many of you are familiar with the issues I’ve had surrounding a woman named Michaela Grey, who took my choice of pen name as a personal affront to her. Over the past ten years, she has doggedly clung to her misguided belief that I ‘stole’ her name and that my decision to use it was an attack on her.
Can you explain with this news means? For those of us who may not be in the know.
Basically, the team I work for was in the BCHL, which is a league for players focused on getting scholarships for college. Some do make it to the NHL but it’s more about getting into college for most of them.
But we are now officially in the WHL, which is major junior hockey and drafts the most NHL prospects out of any league in the world. It’s a huge step forward for us, we’ll be playing the teams I’ve been following for years and it’s incredibly exciting!

I just came up with the BEST idea for a theme night, I’m really hoping my boss goes for it.
Last night during the first game of the evening, the hockey players in the stands beside me systematically demolished, in order:
A giant bowl of pineapple
A giant bowl of cantaloupe
And a giant bowl of honeydew
They left to get ready for their game before I could see what they came up with next, but their singleminded dedication to blitzing through that fruit was truly inspiring and delightful
Didn’t expect to kick off my evening by playing chicken with a 6’3 hockey player but here we are

Listen, I want the Knights to win this series because my boss is a Vegas fan and friends with several of the coaches/trainers, but my consolation here is if the Stars DO somehow reverse sweep Vegas, the Cats are going to absolutely beat the wheels off them in the Final. It’ll be chaos and it’ll be glorious

Hey there, I definitely would love to sell them as paperbacks again, but with things so up in the air with the move and the new job, it'll have to wait a few more months. However, once things have settled down, it's for sure on my down-the-road agenda to make happen!
