they’re so perfect (from Star Trek TNG 365 book)
Bob’s Burgers meets Star Trek TNG! Bob’s Enterprise?
I know, I know, another pop culture mash up, I’m the worst, haha. But damn, these were SO FUN to draw. I’ve been slowly adding characters for the past few weeks and I’m finally ready to call this finished.

Kira × Ziyal × art (split version; single image version here)
Two of Kira’s foils, Ziyal and Iliana, were skilled artists, a talent Kira freely admitted never having, yet she herself is a descendent of artisans. Whenever she connects with these women, when she holds their works in her hands, I have to wonder if she’s glimpsing another reality in which the Occupation never occurred, and in which she discovered and developed her own artistic voice.

Honorable mention:
I have absolutely no artistic skills. I was the worst finger painter at the four-year-old level. My parents were humiliated.
If you ever want to be emotionally compromised, listen to I Bet My Life by Imagine Dragons and think about Admiral Janeway talking to Chakotay’s grave.
#i swear Chakotay spends most of his time on voyager trying to make kathryn see reason#like she gets these wild ideas and he just sighs#are you sure that's necessary captain?#couldn't we send an away team instead of doing this captain?#haven't you had enough coffee captain?#is that much caffeine even safe captain?#poor chuckles [ via dontyouauntkathyme ]
Sometimes I think Chakotay and Will Riker got together for beers when Voyager got back just so they could compare their captains’ penchants for doing crazy things.
@nasa, I made a list of pros and cons of sending me to Mars
Pros:
1. I sleep a lot so I’m always refreshed and would be find with being put in stasis (or extended sleep, either works for me) 2. I love isolation so I won’t freak out about being alone 3. I’m super adventurous (one time I ate a cockroach because I’d never done it before. Yay learning experiences!) 4. I’m obsessed with space and would pay super close attention to what’s going on
Cons:
1. I’d sing the Star Trek theme song at the top of my lungs the entire way to Mars and back (this is clearly not a con, but if you’re going to put me in a ship with other people, maybe they should have fair warning so they can learn the instrumental parts and we can harmonize)
