i defended my thesis with a sword!

I thought Tiny (short for Tiny Baby Lizard) had left my room cuz I hadn’t seen him for a while but he popped up again today while I was packing and now I’m so stressed again

Because I’m leaving in two days and I’m scared that they’ll fumigate the room after I leave or find him and kill him or something

So now I have to try to catch him in the next two days so I can release him outside

I am fully projecting all of my emotions about leaving onto Tiny and the thought of anything happening to him makes me want to cry. Also just looking at him makes me want to cry because he is just. So small 🥺

we caught him!!! Tiny has been safely relocated outside to some nice bushes in the shade :) I am extremely relieved.

Probably near either the mandarin hybrid cluster at the top of the chart or between that cluster and clementines. They're a high true mandarin x low pomelo hybrid.

Our new little hybrid is in the zone between a Bergamot orange and a Meyer lemon, but fun fact, Bergamot oranges are probably a bitter orange x lemon hybrid, and Meyer lemons are a mandarin orange x lemon hybrid. You can see the usual supermarket lemons (Lisbon lemons and associates) to the right of the red dot.

These little bastards love hybridizing.

So this new thing is orange-orange-lemon-lemon. Or something. Either way, sure will taste like citrus! Enjoy??
