Does anyone actually read the Shatter Me series? Because I am freaking obsessed with it and I have no one to talk with about it.
tropes i will never get tired of
- fake dating
- omniscient narrator who immediately contradicts the characters (“This is fine,” she said. It was, in no way, shape, or form, fine.)
- deadpan jokes while swordfighting
- the “I FUCKING LOVE MY WIFE” guy
- oblivious pining that slowly escalates until A is going on page rants about how pretty B’s eyes are but still doesn’t seem to recognize they’re in love
- Strong Leader Type having to physically fall down in order for the other characters to see how exhausted they are
- funny villains who talk and make jokes with their heroes while they’re fighting them
- the villains presented as the protagonists
- *increasingly pulls out bigger and bigger weapons from more unlikely places*
- “I said all of your weapons” *pulls out more*
- “ALL OF THEM” *pulls out one last tiny dagger*
- traumatized character using humor to cover up ptsd
- characters going out for a break at a restaurant/movie/whatever and something bad happening
- using the “*gasp* what’s that over there???” trick to avert the enemy’s attention and it working
- a villain’s weakness being something totally random and nonsensical
- a hero duo arguing over who’s the sidekick while fighting a villain
- “don’t be silly, we don’t need [important thing]” “you lost it, didn’t you?” “yeah”
- “what’s the one thing I told you not to do tonight?” “raise the dead” “and what did you do?” “raised the dead”
- “I think that went pretty well” *explosion in the distance*

I'm so tired of all these mafia aus where the male is the powerful mafia leader and the female is weak, innocent, and needs protected. How about a power couple for once? A couple that can fight side by side as equal partners? Her being known for being powerful and terrifying and being the only one who could tame him? Why not people

Honestly what makes this so difficult is because it was so random
Stray Kids has always been so tight, so together they came across as a real family. Ever since the begining they were always so adamant about the number 9. Nine or none, ot9, 9, stray kids nine or none we're gonna cross finish line. They always seemed so close, always emphasizing that they couldn't do it without each other that they wouldn't be the same if a member was missing. So to get this news? It's devastating and I can't imagine what could have caused this and i can't imagine what the others are going through and quite honestly I'm a wreck right now but we'll get through it eventually and stray kids will get through this, and someday it'll be ok it won't ever be the same but it'll be ok.
Where do we go from here?
I know we all feel lost right now. That's okay. Please remember that none of this was intended to hurt us. I'm sure Woojin had good reasons.
To stray kids:
Please remember that we all love you. Do not for a single second believe that any of you are at fault. Stays will be here for you every step of the way to support you the way you have supported us. We're all losing a family member and it breaks our hearts but the only way through is together as one.
To stays:
Please don't be angry at Woojin. Don't think that he wanted to hurt us. He was and always will be one of our boys. He has supported us and made us smile when the world was dark. Please continue to support him through whatever his journey may be.
To Chris:
You are not at fault. As the leader, I know you're probably blaming yourself thinking you didn't do enough. You have given each and every one of us memories that we will hold in our hearts for life. Please don't let yourself fall while you're supporting the others. You have been an amazing leader and an amazing brother to your boys.
I hope everyone takes care of themselves in the coming days and remembers that we are not alone. We all have each other to lean on during these tough times and we need to take advantage of that. I love you all, so very much.
