Yeah, he really is. Jack forgiveness arc real. And I see what you mean- when Romeo reveals himself, Jack has already lost friends, but Petra is distrustful even though nothing bad has happened to her yet. (Unless you count losing Ms. Butter in the one optional path.) Later on that changes when Romeo becomes more involved in both of their lives on his quest to obtain a champion. If you all don’t mind me ranting again, I have more to add onto the original analysis…
