Not to be #cute on main but I simply will not rest until the Supreme Court as an institution is nothing but ash and soot underneath my feet 😊😊🥰🥰😍
Whoa guys check out this #cute pic I found online 🥰🥰🥰
the notes are so right. You don't bother to check every egg until the day one is cracked.
One time I ran into Alice Cooper at my local grocery store and he was checking the eggs so you really do need to check every egg.
we *did* really need this rain
Finished MSQ 75 yesterday.
I hoped there would be some viera-wol specific text but oh well. Makes it up in my head instead. It’s must be crazy for a viera who’s familiar with the Golmore Jungle to be in Rak’tika.
Every few months twitterinas bring back the “carnivores are a problematic element of nature and we should feed them synthetic meat and make it so they don’t eat herbivores. this is completely normal, feasible and won’t have any kind of repercussion on the ecosystem” discourse
First time I saw that was a guy who had as proposition to create fake prey animals with a robotic exoskeleton and covered in synthetic meat that predators would hunt, eat and then the exoskeleton would get up and go to the lab to get re meated. That was funny as hell
Squid I'm so sorry you had to find out about these people this way.
Have you found the one suggestion to build a big fence across the Serengeti and put all the predators on one side and all the herbivores on the other yet?
See, cats will eat grass, as will dogs, so this means that they CAN, they just want to eat meat, but this would force them to learn to live on grass!!!
(This is an actual argument that has been made)
I.... I have no words
The- you- no
Absolutely the fuck not
Like I said earlier on Discord; a hobby of mine is investigating fringe diets on the internet and seeing what the reasoning is for whatever fad they've come up with now.
I like to study the people who make this sort of argument. Like spores on agar under a microscope. It's fascinating to puzzle out what makes them tick.
all cops are bastards because all cops are just doing their jobs
“I’m just doing what I’m told. If I am ordered to remove gold fillings from refugees theeth then that’s what I’ll do”, says police officer Michael Hansen. Just thought I’d add this since not a lot of people outside of the nordic countries seem to have seen it. This is a danish police officer discussing a new danish law that says the police should seize the possesions and money of refugees to finance the integration.

Certain words can change your brain forever and ever so you do have to be very careful about it.
Fully losing it at this facebook screenshot. 22 inches of green and 1.5 of carrot.
alright so during into the spider-verse's introduction to peter b. parker, we see his wedding, and he stomps on the wine glass right? this is a jewish wedding tradition, which makes this version of peter parker jewish (further confirmed in interviews -- however, i believe this is enough by itself). it's a nice nod to the jewish roots of the character.
we get to see a bunch of peter parkers throughout the spider-verse films, and none of them have any explicit religious associations like peter b. parker. except for one!
here we have gwen stacy's peter parker and aunt may, from earth-65, saying grace over a meal. from my understanding, this is generally a christian practice -- in judaism, we prefer to say short prayers before eating, and save the long, in-depth ones for afterwards. so to me, this was a clear example of the character being coded as christian. i was a little disappointed that they didn't make peter parker jewish here too, but since across the spider-verse discusses variants and the differences between instances of the same person between different universes, i interpreted this as a continued commentary on peter parker's ethnicity -- although he was initially jewish-coded and one of his two creators, stan lee, is jewish, this is often erased, especially in more modern interpretations of the character.
and then i remembered that this peter parker also literally turns into the lizard.
and y'know what? good call on that one guys.
I wanted to put a more positive spin on the popular skeleton leaving meme
They'll make things like weed illegal because it's "dangerous" and "causes brain rot" (we know the real reason, but I digress) but actively encourage teenagers to go get repeated concussions and slack on their studies for a potential career that involves MORE concussions/brain damage and claim that's just wholesome good fun. :)
'merica.
Actually as a black person I'd go a step further: both of these are racism.
Weed is highly associated in the US with black people. Despite many cultures using cannabis and hemp products, in this country the largest stereotype is black people smoking weed. You make weed illegal, you predominantly affect the black population. You turn a stupid occasional indulgence into a felony and you lock people up for life on mandatory minimums for possession. You spread the sterotype that smoking weed makes you a violent predator and you get public opinion on your side while having an excuse to lock up as many undesirables as possible.
Over half of NFL players are black. Watching black people beat the shit out of each other to the point of causing serious lifelong injury is not a new hobby of white people. So what if the players are wearing out as fast as we replace them? They're negros anyway and they earn way too much money and they're all thugs and violent predators and hey wait a minute this sounds eerily familiar...
This is double obvious when you see the treatment of white football players vs black.
A black player kneels in protest during the anthem because he feels he cannot pledge unwavering support to a country that murders his people in the streets? National outcry and years of punishment.
A white player is rumored to kneel in prayer during the anthem to beg God for forgiveness for aborted babies (which didn't happen but that didn't stop white conservatives from running with the narrative or for black people from getting mad about it)? Internet sensation- despite the fact that that's not how it happened.
A black player is convicted of and serves time for his truly horrific dog fighting ring? People are still on his back about it despite the fact that he hasn't played since 2015, and people still won't support the team he played immediately after his jailtime even though he hasn't played *for them* since 2013.
A white player-turned-coach knows about and looks the other way from child sexual abuse of his coworkers- enough that they had about 50 counts of it in court- over a period of fifteen years... and is still regarded as one of the best coaches of all time.
It's the racism. These problems are both caused by racism.
this is among one of the funniest ask i have ever seen someone get sorry
