A lot of posts made by people with food intolerances are like “guys it’s not some crazy trend or fad diet please respect me!!” I’m going to take it a step further and say even people on diets that seem trendy or unnecessary or weird to you still deserve to not have their food or drinks tampered with. Someone who’s terrified of sugar and calories won’t die if you serve them a normal Coca Cola instead of a Diet Coke but you still shouldn’t. Someone’s bodily autonomy doesn’t end when you don’t agree with or understand the choices that they’re making.
