Ornithia - My original project about a fantasy adventure involving bird-people called Ornithians. It’s been something I’ve been working on gradually in the background but more recently I’ve given it more priority as I’m hoping to finally start posting the story officially.

Johtodex - My ongoing watercolor project where I paint every Pokemon in the Johto Regional Pokedex (which includes Gen 1 mons) using their color pallets from their Gen 2 sprites

At the beginning of this year I made a promise to myself that I would start Ornithia officially this year. The original deadline I gave myself was today, 7/7. Unfortunately I've still got a ways to go, but I have also made a lot of progress.

I wanted to make a little painting to celebrate and also make an official declaration of my intention to start posting Chapter 1 of Ornithia on 11/11 of this year.

So wish me luck! Hopefully combined with hard work behind the scenes I'll make my new deadline. If you want to see more of Ornithia before then, you can always support me on Patreon.

Unown for the Johtodex!

I wanted the Unown to spell out something, and ultimately I decided on "Harmony" from this passage found in the Ruins of Alph in Crystal.

While Unown aren't great battlers, I do really love the small bit of world building and lore it brings to Johto. They're just cool little guys!

Smoochum and Jynx for the Johtodex!

I had fun adapting Jynx into the Johtodex style, I think it's my favorite of how the human-like Pokemon turned out. I tried to bring out her icy siren side!

Elekid and Electabuzz for the Johtodex!

Through one of my first adventures through Crystal, my Odd Egg hatched into a shiny Elekid. I named her Pippi (since that's what I always thought the Elekid in Pikachu's Rescue Adventure was saying). She evolved into an Electabuzz and helped Dizzy Punch my team to victory.

Sadly the file died when the battery did, but I still have fond memories <3
