I'm thinking "weird question for a psych eval, but okay sure", and I get about two sentences into describing my weird pagan ways before she leans into her screen and says "GUNS. Do you keep any G U N S or have ACCESS TO GUNS in the house."

If I read something on the asks that feels genuinely threatening or dangerous, or that's actually abusive, I just delete it and block the person.

If I'm answering an ask here you can assume that as far as I'm concerned even if it's apparently threatening or angry, it's meant humorously or with love.

It's never appropriate to dogpile people. Never appropriate to threaten or abuse them, even if you think you are doing it for me and with the best of intentions. Don't.

The thing about how I've slowly developed a taste for stories that are more miserable and tragic is that I've gotten better at recognizing when a sad/dark/tragic ending is forced/unneeded/actively detrimental to the story and when ita fine. It also makes it easier to spot when a happy ending is unearned and actively detrimental to the story

I think to really understand the value of more dark and depressing stories you need to find the ones that actually compell you. Genuinely i think a nonzero amount of "stories are supposed to be happy distractions and I don't wanna watch a boring movie about war and divorce" people would change their minds if exposed to the right tragedy that shakes them to the core and rewires their brain for the better

Let's also not forget the intersex kids who are forced into surgeries and hormones with no ability to consent.

This. There are many intersex children who go thru puberty early, and most of the time intervention is chosen for us, not by us. Cis intersex children deserve autonomy too.
