The car is a loud, flashy, grotesquely powerful object that grants you the ultimate freedom - the freedom to travel in any direction, the freedom to move at any speed, the freedom to have your way with the woman you want, the absolute freedom of embracing masculine entitlement. The car exists to quell the doubt of those who have begun to notice the cracks in the system of Ohtori, to placate them with this illusory freedom that makes them believe they can breach the walls of their coffin all while they travel around in circles over and over again forever. The car presents itself as a way that you can surpass the system and depend only on your own will, when in reality you're just submitting to Akio's will and playing into a system that is built around the car and requires your acceptance of it to be successful.
This is just like how men who spend five hundred thousand on a bright red gas guzzling fuckmobile think they're proving that they've got a huge dick and unlimited freedom, when in fact they're just further submitting to a system that forces them to spend thousands of dollars monthly to have the privilege of traveling 20 minutes and putting their lives at risk to get bread at the nearest walmart.
