Except there is nothing wrong with someone wanting to at least try and make a difference in law enforcement. They'll probably be alienated by both the bad cops and nonlaw enforcement but, hey, there ARE good cops. They just don't last long, sadly.

how did you find time to type out this ask when you seem too busy with all this bootlicking

that anon doesn't understand that you don't need to know everything about everything to question things you see online like say a trick to make infinite chocolate

omg i forgot about infinite chocolate... one simple trick

social media has existed for less than a century, which is a really, really short time. how could you expect everyone to know everything about anything? its about awareness and always has been rather than putting them down. say what you want, i will too.

actually i do know everything. if you don't you just need to spend more time online.

it’s wild to me seeing how many people use tiktok everyday and just fall for every lie on there. i used tumblr in my most formative years, i know that social media is used by lunatics to spread pointless misinformation for no reason other than the thrill of lying to strangers.

i read posts about chicken nuggets/tubby custard, about an MRI scan of a person’s brain when they die, i was here for the HIV cannibal mermaid hamilton fanfic racefake debacle.

if grown adults get bamboozled on tiktok by people sharing wild misinfo, then perhaps they deserve it for not learning about social media literacy any sooner.

whole company's founded on a mouseboy and his mousegirlfriend. children should not be seeing this

love to come on tumblr just to post about seeing the worst take on twitter. anyway this time it was someone saying they were glad amber heard was defamed and delegitimized and that now they want the same to happen to megan thee stallion

Like I'm at the point where parasocial relationships are actively harmful. Celebrity culture is actively harmful. Putting someone on a pedestal, anyone but especially a stranger, is actively harmful. To yourself, to how you interact with others, to how you interact with media. Stan culture is actively harmful. Thinking someone is good at their craft =/= genuinely believing you know someone you absolutely do not and can never know.

accidentally stumbled upon “dating a homophobe/transphobe means you’re not an ally” discourse on twitter and it’s just so bad right off the bat

truly nothing has brought out such a vile side of so much of twitter as this trial. some of the grossest and dumbest takes i’ve ever seen in my life have appeared on my feed in just the past few hours.

not just people defending abusers, but also the disgusting glamorizing of the trial in a way that angles it like a movie or tv show to consume as content.

police force, when someone gets killed: we're sorry we couldn't find the killer, we don't have enough evidence to track them down.
