Tell the truth Tom, story wise all this talk of revenge, bringing characters to justice for their crimes, etc. in Hickman's AVENGERS/NEW AVENGERS story will all be meaningless cuz they'll probably all/mostly die in SECRET WARS. So it won't make much of a difference.
"there aren’t any details that are any of your business" I can't agree with that. As someone who likes to spend their money in a morally and ethically responsible way, it really matters to me before I spend $$$ on movie tickets and comics that creators are being taken care of and that their important contributions are being acknowledged with more than a token "Special Thanks" at the end of the $100 million dollar blockbuster. Without that knowledge, I stay away.
Well then, I’d like to know the details of your finances before I give you any information, because I like to know, morally and ethically, that you’re a trustworthy and responsible individual who can be trusted with the specifics of our business dealings.
You can send your bank account information to me c/o the regular Marvel address.
wholly inaccurate analogy as Marvel is a company that we, as patrons keep in business and as such we support their actions financially. Guess it’s okay if your bank supplies your money to drug dealers because we as customers don’t have the right to any moral or ethical questions about that business. Keep liking this kind of answer without actually thinking about it. Sigh…
You seem to be the one not thinking things through. Your business relationship with Marvel is based on a transaction of payment for a good. For your money they provide you with a form of entertainment in a comic book. This transaction in no way entitles you to any information about their business or anything else for that matter. Anything they share with you is only obligated to go as far as Marvel wants to further build a relationship with you as a loyal customer. If you don't like who they are as a company, what they stand for, or their practices, you are free to forgo purchasing the comic. You are also free to forgo the comics if you feel that is necessary because they don't provide the information on their practices that you would like. But that on no way gives you the right to demand this information because you buy a comic. But of course, instead of thinking this through like you would like others to do, it is much easier to bitch and moan from the sidelines about not getting what you want. Sigh...
Rocket Raccoon & Groot Fan Art
Here’s a great piece of Guardians of the Galaxy art that director James Gunn tweeted out recently. It features Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel mashed together with the characters they are voicing, Rocket Raccoon and Groot. The illustration was created by Arne, who goes by the name ratscape on DeviantArt.
Awesome and fun concept. Beautiful execution.
"It's a major award."
Um...Tom Selleck was originally cast as Indiana Jones, but had to bow out to do Magnum PI. Now your turn...
