can we count on you for the GonchRevival? (19th of november, simultaneously the 50th anniversary of Goncharov the movie and the 1 year anniversary of Goncharov trending on tumblr)

(it's @therealmatteo-jwhj-0715 on anon btw)

Please stop pretending to be a man who definitely died young and was probably murdered; it's in terrible taste.

I will absolutely find the time to rewatch Goncharov on the anniversary. I'm hoping the studio may release a remastered version with some of those legendary scenes it's rumoured Jwhj-0175 only cut under protest.

Someone just tagged a post of mine "incorrect Goncharov quotes" and

1. I love you

2. The layers of incomprehensible memes it takes to talk about incorrect quotes of a movie that doesn't exist.

the mandela effect: when a large demographics has the same erroneous memory.

the goncharov effect: when a large demographics knows very well what the real memory is but pretends completely unprompted to remember the same erroneous memory.

You know how the Goncharov (1973) poster has "winter comes to Naples" on it? I want you all to know that currently, Naples is very cold (for our tastes), we have snow on top of Vesuvius, our mountains have snow, and some of the surrounding towns have snow. This is not normal. You all did this to us. You cursed us.

i'll get the dodgeball

made a new dodgeball for this situation

It's so fucking unfair that Daniel Radcliffe, Elijah Wood, and Robert Pattinson have never been in a movie together where they all play the part of dirty little gremlin man that must go on a grand quest of some kind in which they spent the entire film arguing, lighting each other on fire, inexplicably dressing in drag to sneak into locations that welcome both men and women, and singing old sea shanties.

this fucking tag...you're so right.

i hope that the popularity of goncharov convinces people to watch mikey and nicky, which is a movie about two mobsters who are so close to having gay sex that at one point john cassavetes' character has sex while peter falk's character takes slow drags of his cigarette and watches. clocks and the passage of time are potent motifs. the only friends from childhood they have left are each other. they hold each other close and brawl in the streets and the betrayal at the end is so slow and inevitable it feels like watching a dentist wash their hands and put on their gloves before coming to pull out your teeth. it's literally just like my favorite movie goncharov

Is this a fake movie too

you think i would lie about peter falk and john cassavetes? you think i would tell lies about elaine may's 1976 masterpiece mikey and nicky?

you think i would lie about a film like mikey and nicky that you can watch in it's entirety for free on youtube?

Not gonna lie, I clicked on this fully expecting a rickroll and i am floored to report IT IS NOT.

Today is the 50th Anniversary of the release of Goncharov (1973). Hard to believe it's really been fifty years! The filmmaking industry has changed so much since then, but Martin Scorsese's masterpiece remains a beloved classic. In every way, it more than holds up against modern cinema.

Unlike the characters, this film will never be Out of Time.

I’m convinced you guys are just making up The Locked Tomb series at this point. This has got to be another Goncharov. There is no way everything I’m seeing about it is true. You can’t gaslight me I know Martin Scorsese’s cult classic film Gideoncharov the Ninth isn’t real

I’M SORRY WHAT???
