ngl one of my absolute favorite things about ted and rebecca is how easy it could have been for the writers to have him be taller than her yet they went in the complete different direction. jason is an inch taller than hannah when she’s barefoot so if they had her wear flats he would be taller than her. easy peasy. but instead they have her wearing the highest heels imaginable every single episode and do the complete opposite of making her smaller so they fit into some stupid stereotype that men just have to be taller than women.

even hannah herself 100% thought they wanted her to be as short as possible and even asked jason the first day on set and he just said he wanted her to wear heels. also she’s talked about how her height has been a huge complication in her career and him telling her that ted wouldn’t mind being shorter than her during their chemistry read when they first met is something that can be so personal because truly he wouldn’t and i just love that so much
