If you don’t know about the racialized nature of the pro life movement and their disregard for the health of Black mothers and black babies despite saying they stand for fetuses and the hypocrisy that is shown continuously to Black mothers and babies that relates trends beyond Flint or how the pro life movement has a strong lobby in congress and has put money into “protecting” fetuses but have failed to mobilize continuously for Black mothers and babies, I don’t know what to tell you.

This isn’t about abortion it’s about movements that don’t care about Black mothers and babies and do not use their immense lobbying power to do something about this.

well since y'all are making the claims give me some proof y'all are the ones claiming that the pro-life movement is out to get black people so show me evidence because I know multiple black pro-lifers male and female and I have never even seen any signs of what you are saying nor can I point to anyone who has who can actually show me evidence with the only claim makers so far that I’ve ever encountered being yourselves so give me evidence or quit trying pretend that something exists that doesn’t.

Hey. Why don’t you just…you know, google it? It really doesn’t take that long. And if you say the responsibility is on them to give you all the proof you need, when it takes just seconds to google what they’re saying you don’t actually care about ‘evidence’ at all. And even if they took the time out of their days to do that, you would most likely still have the same view, so just look it up yourself? Especially when gems like these are easily available..

Well one it’s not my responsibility it’s theirs as the ones making the claim 2 so you showed me a picture and that’s it and the URL in it contains no information and it’s actually for sale and 3 if I keep the same view it’s because the sources that they offer are highly biased or actually prove nothing and make a bunch of outrageous claims

The picture wasn’t supposed to be an end-all-be-all for evidence. I’m giving a quick, obviously not well cited example of some of the anti-blackness that goes in on in the pro-life movement. The point of me just throwing that picture out there was a small prompt for you to just look up the information yourself. A kind of, “Oh shit, that’s the type of things some pro-lifers say? Let me see if it’s actually true or not let me look into this further”. Like the shit on that billboard doesn’t bother you? Okay. You’re making it very clear you don’t seem to actually care about the “truth” or “evidence” of any type. If you are that starved for evidence you would have looked it up yourself by now. It just seems like you would rather stick to your point of view and have people hand pick you peer reviewed, top of the line studies and research that you could simply find yourself if you, actually gave a shit.  Which you don’t. I recommend you look up what ‘sealioning’ is. Because you’re very guilty of it right now. Or do you need someone to give you the ‘evidence’ for that too?

Except for that the URL is no evidence you not offered any evidence. All you’ve offered is a fucking poster I can put up a poster to anyone can put up a poster there are posters out there saying all kinds of terrible shit. I’ve seen posters saying that all men are pigs I’ve seen posters saying racist shit you can’t use a poster as evidence you need to show me some evidence or that’s all there is to it that’s how this goes. Not only that but this poster implies that the real problem is with the pro-choice movement because the way this reads and implies that the pro-choice movement is out to kill black babies so as to prevent them from being born. And without being able to go to the site because it’s no longer up I can’t in fact check that so what you show me the poster that looks like it’s damming a whole other movement on the opposite side of the fence and to clean that they should inspire me to look up the pro-life movements opinions

Okay weirdly this exact situation has happened to me. It was summer so I was sleeping naked, but then I heard the lock on the front door being opened. I thought someone was breaking into my house and I had enough time to either grab my sword or my nightgown, not both.

Two things I learned.

One, sometimes apartment complexes will flat out forget to tell you they’re sending someone over from the fire department to check your fire extinguishers.

Two, no matter how bad ass a person thinks they are, a naked person swinging a sword at them will knock them off balance both physically and mentally.

However, the fireman was very nice about it and accepted my apology.

call’s not a nice person. he’s selfish, he’s mean to people that don’t always deserve it. despite his strong moral compass, he doesn’t always do the right thing.

but aaron still cared deeply about call. call has only ever been a good person, a hero, to aaron. aaron sees the kindness in call, the honesty and compassion that he buries under sarcasm because he doesn’t always understand how else to express it; aaron sees his fear of becoming the enemy, his sorrow at causing bad things to happen to people he cares about. call is the enemy of death, call brought aaron back and doomed him to a longer, insidious death in the rotting of his soul and aaron still saw call as a hero.

and aaron, who had a harmful past and was scared to say no, because every kindness done to him was a favor he could not repay but with his service and sacrifice, aaron was able to be the best person he could be with call and tamara. aaron was happy because with them he didn’t have to be the golden boy, the makar-that-will-save-us-all, he could be aaron. because call saw aaron, and call saw a little bit of himself. because sometimes outcasts are the only ones who can understand outcasts, even former ones.

what i love about calron is that call doomed himself to save aaron. call became the thing he feared the most to save aaron, because he loved him so much, he would burn down the world to bring him back. i love that neither of them are perfect, that they were both selfish and human and afraid, but that they brought out the best in eachother by being together. i love that aaron saw every bad thing that call had done, that he knew every one of his darkest secrets, and he still loved him, loved him enough to sacrifice himself one more time.

IF YOU NEED TO CALL 911 BUT ARE SCARED TO BECAUSE OF SOMEONE IN THE ROOM, dial and ask for a pepperoni pizza. They will ask if you know you’re calling 911. Say yes, and continue pretending you’re making an order. They’ll ask if there’s someone in the room.

You can ask how long it will take for the pizza to get to you, and they will tell you how far away a dispatcher is.

I’ve done this.  I’m alive because of this. 

My flat-mate’s date for the night was almost as drunk as her.  She had passed out in her room and locked the door.  He refused to leave because he wanted to have sex.  He also demanded food because he was dealing with “whiskey dick”.  He didn’t like the lack of food in the fridge.  I called 911, did the stuff stated above, and he was getting PISSED about how long the “order” was taking.  He took my phone, demanded they “hurry the fuck up”.  Police arrived two minutes later, arrested him, and helped me file a police report.  Pressing charges wasn’t necessary because he had warrants on him from THREE different states for the very thing he planned to do to me.  Several months after this happened one of the officers informed me he was charged with two felonies because he crossed stay lines, and will be serving no less than 35 years in prison.  The officer ripped into my flat-mate about her bringing home complete strangers, while drunk, knowing full well this shit could happen. 

This was 14 years ago.  

Do the pizza order, do it as calmly as you can.  The dispatcher I spoke to said things like this:

“If he’s drunk say you want mushrooms.”  I said I want extra mushrooms.

“If he’s threatening you with sexual assault say you want onions.”  I said I want onions.

She went like this with different toppings and sauces for a description of him, like pineapple if he’s blonde, black olives if he’s tall, extra large if he’s tall, etc.

They’ve heard this sort of coded call before.  They’re trained for it.  They will understand what you’re saying.  Order the pizza.

Really though. I’m in training for dispatch and this was one of the first things they taught us. Pretend you’re talking to a friend or relative, pretend you’re ordering pizza, we’ll figure it out. We’ll word questions so you can answer in an easy, casual way. Please, just make the call and we will do everything we can to help you.
