we ALL know that the friday the 13th series has exactly twelve films which feels like they are just begging for one more. However the last one was made in 2009 so it really feels like no one is going to do it except for me. so here are my pitches for the revival and final installment:
Friday the 13th: Thursday the 12th - A time travel movie where they simply stop Jason from drowning as a kid and he turns out normal. However the normal-Jason timeline is actually a worse timeline so now they have to convince a normal boy to become a killer. At the end we can all rest easy knowing that Jason murdering people was all for the best
Friday the 13th: Mid-Life Crisis - Jason realizes that this has all really been overkill (pun intended) and starts applying for other jobs. The villain in this one is the job market. Jason kills Elon Musk at the end. That part's just in there as a little treat for me.
Friday the Laidteenth - Jason has sex and realizes it was no big deal and he didn't need to react that way about it
Friday the Goalteenth - While on his killing rampage, Jason accidentally stumbles into a hockey rink. One team's coach mistakes him for the goalie (because of his mask) (he already killed the real goalie btw) and he makes a game-winning save. The film slowly becomes an inspirational underdog story about a down-on-their-luck team and Jason, who has finally found his passion.
Friday the Gayteenth - This one is an AU where Jason and Michael Myers meet as children and match each other's freak so hard that they slowly fall in love over the course of many summers. it's like if call me by your name was one million times worse and also unwatchable
