Creepy book covers are fantastic
How beautiful is this 😍
I’ve been amassing books about magical libraries/books. It’s time I read some of them. This one is first!
i hate to say this but saruman is a very understandable character because he studied the works of evil to better understand them and defeat them, but in the process he became corrupted. and that’s just what law school is like. you either die young or live long enough to imprison your friend in a tower because you’re going crazy studying for the evil bar exam. which is like the regular bar exam.
“Creativity is the auma of the universe, David. A good story, written with heart and feeling, can touch many people and raise their awareness of global issues.”

I’m usually not someone who wants to buy a new printing of a book just because it has a different cover but the Temeraire art by Rovina Cai has me so tempted!
There is even spine cover art for the entire collection!
This series remains one of my favorites and I implore everyone to read these wonderful books! Dragon riders in the Napoleonic wars, with rich cultures from around the world, intense battle scenes, dragons arguing for fair rights and pay, and more!
“Books loved anyone who opened them, they gave you security and friendship and didn’t ask anything in return; they never went away, never, not even when you treated them badly.”

POV it's the 2012 scholastic book fair and you're about to lose your fucking mind
"Writing the story does feel a little magical.
Sometimes I get so lost in the plot I find myself forgetting which parts are imagined and which are the parts that have actually happened."
"It's a little like being on a mystery tour.”
"You sort of know you're going somewhere but you can't be sure where until you arrive. Does that make sense?"

Should I get the Wings of Fire books? Are they good? What are some other dragon books you recommend?
It’s been a very long time, But I have read either the first two or three, and I remember liking it!
There seems to be a very large and very active community for it right now as well, so now would be a good time to read it if you like engaging with people over your favorite media
There’s two other series I would recommend, one’s about a sailor and his Dragon, ones about a tenant and his landlord’s clay Dragons. I can NOT remember how to spell the first series, Temeraire? First book is “His Majesty’s Dragon”. It’s another one I haven’t touched in a long time but I remember enjoying. The Fire Within is the other series I’m talking about. I think I was in middle school when it read it, and I remember so little about the plot, but I was HOOKED on it. It’s in my list to get a whole set of them so I can read it again :)
There is also of course the classics “Dragon Rider” and the “Eragon” series, first is a cute fun story (theres a book two and I have it but haven’t read it yet), second is a 4-book fantasy.
Anyways hope this info was helpful! And hopefully I’m remembering thing correctly. ..
