I watched the scene where Bellamy first meets Doflamingo and asks to join the Family, and damn.
DAMN.
This man unknowingly doomed himself from the very start. He used the worst possible thing as a reason for him to become a pirate and join Doflamingo. The reason that must have pissed the hell out of Doffy.
Diamante asks about Bellamy’s home town:

“I come from a wealthy land, but I’m fed up with my privileged life. I wanna be a pirate and live like common people!”

I bet Doflamingo was listening to this and thinking about his father. About his childhood spent on the run, eating from garbage dumps and fearing for his life. And I bet this was the moment when Bellamy’s whole life was FUCKED.
