Consider, from the perspective of ten years ago, an ex-president saying he used to constantly fantasize about fucking men, and the reaction being "yeah, whatever, poser."

the average person's understanding of the "squirrel" could stand expansion. most people think of grey squirrels and red squirrels. urge them to think a little harder and they might come up with chipmunks and flying squirrels, while asking "i mean, do those really count?"
prepare yourselves.
first up, red squirrels and grey squirrels (classic):
chipmunks (nightcore ass animal):
african pygmy squirrel (the smallest Squirrels):
thirteen-lined ground squirrel (fancier than you):
prairie dog (insanely intelligent and social):
marmots/groundhogs (the Biggest squirrels):
flying squirrels (how does she do it):
Indian Giant Squirrel (And why he ourple😂):
there are 200+ species of squirrel out there their family is one of, if not the most diverse of the rodents

The Perseid meteor shower
What a gorgeous night of star gazing. Pictures didn't do it justice, so I slammed a bunch of them together to try to make something more like the actual experience (first picture). The night laying on the side of the road cheering for the sky with friends was better than the pictures, no matter how they came out.
come. there is a matter in the grove that demands your presence
Horrible fact of the day: Chevron just released a new boat fuel that WILL give you cancer.
Not "might", not "could", WILL. It has a cancer ratio of 1:1, as in, in a group of 10 people, ALL 10 would contract CANCER.
The EPA's safety limit is 1:1,000,000 as in 1 in a million people get cancer.
The EPA approved it anyways. I am not joking. The EPA approved a boat fuel that has a near 100% chance of giving someone cancer. It has such a good chance of giving someone cancer that if you DIDN'T get cancer YOU WOULD BE AN OUTLIER.
Fuck the oil industries.
this is just .
Okay not for this, but the EPA seems to be being sued for approximately Two other things atm. One of the issues (smog levels ignored) has caused 10 states to sue, as well as another case (federal) going on for allowing the REapproval of TWO toxic herbicides containing ingredients known to cause notable health problems to humans, plants, and animals
We know this because that ingredient is also an Active Ingredient in Agent Orange, a chemical weapon that was used against Vietnam by the US in order to destroy their vegetation. With a ratio of, according to the Vietnam Red Cross, approximately 3:4 people who've come into contact with the chemical getting sick from it, and 1:4 became disabled or suffered other health problems as a result of this. (The US seems to not agree with these statistics, but they have their own documentation of their veterans suffering various types of cancers as well as an increase in birth defects from their folks who came into contact with the chemical. Either way, both groups have documented significant and frequent negative effects to the health of human people due to this weapon. Studies have shown that animal diversity suffers a decrease where the chemical is utilized as well.)
All this is to say the people who've approved this Cancer Boat Fuel or whatever the fuck it is-- potion of fucking kill you dead-- are the same people who've approved an herbicide that has/had an active ingredient in a weapon of ecocide. I don't know if these people have earned my trust, frankly.
These people are grossly negligent at BEST, I don't know who these people are or what they're doing- but they're fucking up. Bad.
(The same product with the Chemical in it was also challenged in 2020 after having been approved in 2014 due to the "underestimation of risks" the herbicide had on the Monarch Butterfly and Milkweed. You know. The plant that is the primary food source of our beloved and Imperiled (endangered) Monarch Butterfly's Caterpillar. So while there are quite a few faces to blame for the decline of these helpless and important insects, this is without a doubt one of them.)
I don't know what they're getting out of acting out like this, but whatever it is, to them it is worth the health and safety of Plants, Animals, and Human People. Because if WE meant anything to these people, they'd be checking their shit twice. from stem to stern. Lock. Stock. And Barrel.
