Alrighty, this has been something I'v been putting off for awhile because I really just wanted to save all the money myself but I just dont think its gonna be able to happen anytime soon and I'm tired of putting it off for Daisy's sake

uhhh iv awnser this a few times but i honestly dont fully

i have YEARS of experience as a character designer from commissions and adopts so i have the general designer experience under my belt

but personally it varies from stand to stand

Radio Star generally had some traits i wanted, furry, HUGE, hooves, horns, ect. then i incorporated some elements from the album he was based on with his black plug, then his color pallet comes from especially from this one outfit from the Video killed the radio star Music video!

but then i had stands like Ruby's Happy Birthday

which was purely based on an inside joke from my friends, where when we play sea of theives and have to calm snakes down i always play happy birthday, and took to naming all the snakes happy birthday. One thing led to another and i realized it be funny that Happy Birthday could technically be a stand name, so here he is! a big snake! named happy birthday lol

i also (especially for the stand user designs) keep a fashion tag on my main blog, or i perus the @fashion4standusers blog!

or i also go on pintrest a lot and collect images and outfits i think would make for fun inspo!

theres a lot of lil ways to figure out designs, looking for music and fashion referances and finding what works. its generally what araki does. I feel like a lot of people think arakis designs for his stands are all random but like, lol most of them maKE sense to some degree either in design or ability. not always! but a lot of the time!

so it doesnt hurt to figure out what you want and put together some ideas and see what works!
