I’m feeling nostalgic today so how about some of my favorite She-Hulk covers (in publication order). She-Hulk was my first ongoing gig and I owe my career to Jeanine Schaefer. She was the first editor to truly trust and believe in me. She gave me my first Marvel assignment and my first ongoing series. Best editor ever!

I learned so much doing She-Hulk and my watercolor skills grew incredibly fast. Forever grateful for the opportunity.

Doug Chiang’s concept art for The Phantom Menace (1999) remains one of my favorite things about it. It shows what could have been: a black-clad Obi-Wan, going at it alone, and Geonosians in the place of Neimoidians.

JoKa’s Censor Art.

Selections from artist JoKa’s new series “Censor Art,” wherein as JoKa explains “I began my Censor Art campaign using found vintage nude photos, and started censoring them with my art, as opposed to having it restricted.  The watering down and censoring of something as universal as the human body is counterproductive to the enrichment of the arts and even though I am covering up that form, its natural beauty is still able to shine through.”
