If this ain’t me dead in the middle.

I am definitely in the moderate/leaning liberal section of the “shut up shut up shut up” spectrum.

We only hear about the far ends of the extreme spectrum because we centrists/moderates are too busy actually running the world.

Look, it’s a centerist bragging about murdering and oppressing people. “Centerists are busy running the world” that’s right Susan. Your all busy committing acts of imperialism and killing gay people.

imagine being this proud of your own apathy.

“I believe in centrism, I am intellectually superior. I haven’t read a book on politics or economy since my senior year in high school. I must be running the world.”

The reason that we don’t hear centrists often is that they have nothing productive to offer. They have no plan to solve problems nor do they want anything to change. When they are heard it’s inevitably crap like this: an exercise in posturing.

Centrists not only have given up all agency to the system as is, but they’re proud of it.
