is there a label that ACTUALLY means 'attraction regardless of gender' and doesn't have transphobic origins?

yes it’s called “bisexual”

Yall were really close to just letting a trans exclusionary label die. Yeah bisexuals always fucked trannies, cool, not the point and also not always true. The label originally referred to intersex people and was eventually used to describe people with attraction to exactly two genders, male and female, eventually being defined in the 90s.

Throughout history, especially queer history, labels have grown and become inclusive. This is why we use terms like Transgender instead of Transexual. There is literally NOTHING wrong with having more inclusive terms like Pansexual, but yall got SOOOOOOOO defensive when it got brought up.

"Noooooo I'm bisexual and I fuck trannies how dare you this is my history" absolute conservative snowflake behavior. Yall can come up with all the backwards justifications you want; "bisexual means two OR MORE" Oh word a bicycle got two OR MORE wheels? Yakl never heard of a tricycle? "Well pansexual means regardless of gender and Bisexual means-" bi is a prefix meaning two. It means exactly two genders and insinuates there are no other genders.

Stop trying to rehabilitate a trans exclusive term, and listen to the kids who are politely asking you to use Pansexual instead. It costs you nothing to make trans kids feel safer.

"Bi means two!!!" Ok, and "oct-" means "eight" but October isn't the eighth month of the year anymore, is it??? Words change meaning over time and holding them to their linguistic roots makes you sound like a prescriptivist dumbass, a biphobe, and a transphobe.*

*The idea that binary trans people are not included in your very narrow definition of bisexuality is SUPER transphobic.

(source: I'm nonbinary, bi, and used to identify as pan but started identifying as bi bc I learned it's Not Fucking Transphobic, and also bi-pan solidarity is very cool!!)

reminds me of this one time i went to give a blowjob to this really sexy 38 yo man who was very masculine, wore a leather jacket, and smelled really strongly of mens cologne; i remember i got down on my knees and he was caressing my face while i was unbuttoning his pants and to my surprise when i pulled down his pants he was wearing lace panties and fishnet garters. i remember how he was looking at me while i sucked his big cock. yes i swallowed

Things we don’t need to hear!

well i thought it was interesting. :/ peace and love on planet earth

No. Bisexuality isn't attraction "regardless" of gender and that's not transphobic because these concepts can coexist.

Bi people don't have to pretend they don't care about the gender of the people they're attracted to. Pansexuality isn't transphobic either. Nor demisexuality. Yet they are not the same: the differences between these words are meaninfgul for people striving to express the complexities of queer attraction.

Sexuality is more complicated than "you must either like ONE gender exclusively or forget gender exists, else you're an evil transphobe!" As far as I know, anyone's sexuality being contigent on whether or not a person is trans was something made up to sow infighting. It's ridiculous.

Everytime people think that bi & pan are the same or that the "real" difference between them is "transphobia," a thousand dead queers roll in their graves.

Ain't nothing prettier than short boys or short girls with a fat, bubbly booty
