I miss the person I met when the only light was the night sky but I have a tendency to romanticize, I realized that when I opened the blinds and it was day time. Time to rise and shine. I’ve spent my days asleep hoping the day dreams will come alive in the night sky. For what have might’ve been purely desire you started my fire and now everyday I make it burn brighter. Though I may be lost you helped me gain the courage to let myself see and learn what I truly believe. I feel I will always dream about what could be. But the dreams don’t live up to my reality.

your voice sounds like Moonlight personified , like honey in sunlight , like northern lights in your eyes, like ocean tides, you sound like a dream, like starry nights, like multitudes of the hues i am in love with, like an exquisite art, what a priviledge to hear it in this lifetime.

LOVE

I wish I could flip a switch and turn myself off until it stops hurting

you should have loved her when you had the chance, it’s as simple as that. she is like the sunrise, something pure and good with only the best intentions, the promise of a new beginning. people like that don’t come around often and yet you had the audacity to use her for your own gain. to you she was a good time, a person you’d go to when there was nothing else to do, a convenience nothing more. so don’t you walk around spilling words of how terrible she was to leave you, when you’re the only one to blame.

I wasn’t actually in love but I felt a sort of tender curiosity.

I won’t ask you to unbreak me. No person can move the clock’s hand back and undo what time has touched.

I won’t ask you to mend me.  That is work that only my hands can know how to do.

All I will ask of you is that you stay a while longer.

I still don't know

What does it mean

to be called beautiful

When the real beauty of you

is hidden in scars that you cover

in the fear of being called ugly.
