There are no tunnels for trains to go through mountains in the world
They just paint the image of the tunnel on the mountain wall to fool the train into charging head first into it, then when it's time for a train to go through they attach a huge drill to the front and dig through
It's a Sisyphean effort though, since the tunnel grows itself back to normal right after and they have to paint the hole again so the trains don't suspect anything
