ONE DOES NOT SIMPLY BLOG ONTO TUMBLR.

@ginathethundergoddess / ginathethundergoddess.tumblr.com

A Nonsense Blog about Nonsensical Jibberish.

I think what a lot of people are not understanding about Orym is that while he does have a (honestly pretty tenuous/ flavor-only) connection to a deity, his argument has always been "Ludinus and the Ruby Vanguard will slaughter innocents as proof-of-concept testing, and anything they say or support needs to be seriously considered on its own merits and has a massive black mark against it going in."

I don't think Orym has a moral high ground because he champions the gods; I think he has a moral high ground because he's one of the few people thinking beyond "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" and weighing the actual consequences, and who understands the distinctions between actions of the gods vs. actions of their followers.

i need you to understand that when tech companies try to emulate the evil megacorps in satirical sci-fi movies it’s not because they don’t understand satire, it’s because they are actual real-life evil megacorps and they operate by evil megacorps rules

when a piece of media says “and that’s why greedy corporations will destroy everything for everyone” they’re not talking to bezos and zuckerberg, they’re talking to you as a decent human being. bezos and zuckerberg’s interests begin and end at pleasing shareholders

many ways to read this and all are good

  • puts his arm around everyone as an excuse to put his arm around daphne
  • puts his arm around members of his polycule
  • he just loves his friends a lot
  • Fred just enjoys sitting like that and the others take advantage for snuggle time
Avatar
  • Fred has very wide shoulders, and if he kept his arms down at his sides he would take up a disproportionate amount of space, so he drapes them across the back of whatever he’s sitting on to be considerate to those around him. It’s the moral and philosophical opposite of manspreading.
  • All of them at once

just read that Lost writer’s room expose from Vanity Fair … man fuck damon lindelof and all the other hacks who did this vile shit

The expose is actually an excerpted chapter from Burn It Down: Power, Complicity and a Call For Change in Hollywood by Maureen Ryan.

Ryan's book is about the abuses that plague the entertainment industry.

Ryan also covered Sleepy Hollow in her book. While the book only got released today, it got summarized here. And let me tell you, white people do not look good here.

Nothing funnier than Link getting the Tony Hawk treatment

[Please do not dub this comic! I’ll be releasing it for the VO community in a few weeks! <3]

I like photos like this because a) workers realizing their own power is good, and b) out of context it looks like these two are announcing their ability to attack you, so don’t try anything funny or Garth the flight attendant will maul you with his teeth
