Pansy & Hermione (Pansmione)
· After Draco and Harry started dating the two friend trios were forced to hang out more
· Blaise and Ron weren’t happy about it
· Hermione was indifferent
· But Pansy was… excited?
· Pansy thought Hermione was one of the most gorgeous girls at Hogwarts
· And after seeing how badass Granger could be in the war
· Pansy was putty in her hands
· Hermione and Ron quickly agreed that being just friends was best for them after they both started to question their sexuality
· Something they had no time to do during their other teen years
· A couple of weeks into hanging out, the two groups became comfortable with each other
· Being the only girls in the group, Pansy and Hermione quickly became friends
· One day Pansy asked Hermione if she wanted to go shopping for some “girl time”
· It was really just an excuse to be alone with her
· Hermione saw an opportunity to be with Pansy, a girl she’d thought was beautiful since first year, and took it
· While they were in a store Pansy noticed Hermione entranced with a necklace
· It was a teardrop-shaped amethyst pendant framed by smaller diamonds
· “You should try it on, Granger.”
· The raven-haired girl walked over to the necklace and took it off of the display and motioned Hermione to turn around
· She placed the necklace on and spun her back around
· There was silence between them
· They’d never been this close before
· Hermione finally noticed the faint sprinkle of freckles across Pansy’s cute nose that was pink from the cold outside
· Pansy was breath taken by how the purple pendant complimented Hermione’s chocolate eyes that seemed to sparkle in the light
· “It looks gorgeous, Granger.”
· Hermione blushed profusely
· “Too bad I can’t afford it.”
· She put the necklace back and they decided to head back to the castle
· A week later the two girls were studying while Draco and Harry went on a date and Ron and Blaise played one vs one quidditch
· The whole week since the incident in the, Hermione couldn’t stop thinking about the light feeling in her chest when Pansy’s hands brushed her neck or the butterflies that erupted when her warm breath hit her cheek
· “Pansy, I have a question… actually, I more need some advice about a crush.”
· Pansy didn’t even look up from her book when she answered
· “Boys aren’t really my thing, Granger, you might have to talk to Potter about it.”
· “Actually, it’s about a girl.”
· Pansy’s head had never snapped up faster
· “Well, go on then.”
· “So, there’s this girl and we’ve only just become close, but I haven’t been able to stop thinking about her, she’s constantly on my mind.”
· She tried to be vague, really, but Pansy wasn’t dumb and also was quite egotistical, so she knew Hermione was talking about her
· And her heart nearly burst when she said that
· But on the outside she remained calm
· “I’m sure she likes you back Granger, who wouldn’t?”
· Another week went by
· A week of Pansy hoping Hermione would make a move
· And a week of Hermione thinking about making a move but not actually doing it
· So Pansy decided to take things into her own hands
· One day the two trios were going to go to Hogsmeade for a day but before they left Pansy told Hermione
· “Hey, Granger, I think I saw something sitting on your bed back in the dorm, you should probably check it out.”
· Hermione was confused but nonetheless she told the others to go ahead and that she’d catch up
· When she got to her dorm there was a small black box sitting on top of a letter
· She opened up the letter first
· ‘I haven’t stopped thinking about you too, Granger, you’re constantly on my mind’
· She smiled at the letter and folded it back up before opening the box
· She gasped and almost teared up from how happy she was
· There in the box sat the amethyst necklace she’d admired with Pansy
· Still holding the box she ran out to the front of the castle where the group was chatting away, trying to stay warm in the snow
· Without saying anything Hermione caught Pansy – and quite frankly all of them – by surprise by grabbing her hand and spinning her around
· Hermione crashed her lips onto Pansy’s and both girls immediately melted right into each other
· They’d completely forgotten about the four boys watching them
· Once they pulled apart they kept their foreheads together and smiled
· The sweet moment didn’t last long once Draco opened his mouth
· “Well, that didn’t take long.”
· Hermione wittily snapped
· “At least it didn’t take us seven years, Malfoy!”
· And Pansy just smiled with pride at her, now girlfriend
