honestly I’m surprised more people haven’t picked up Art Set 4. it’s a really fun and cheap way to paint if you can’t do it traditionally for any reason. made these with it and they’re pretty convincing for being completely digital

app looks like this on the ios store:

(they also have watercolors but I haven’t tried those yet besides some touch-ups)

Sharing the last pack of sliders for a good while so y’all don’t end up fed up lol. This one is focused on creating some asymmetry on sims’ faces. When used subtly they add a bit of realism, but of course you can go wild with these and get some interesting looks!

More Sliders, Yay!
You should be getting to know the drill by now o/ These are available in both CaS and Bodyshop, in the Forehead and Eyes sections. Since I make CC first and foremost for my personal use, I didn’t bother doing LoD versions, sorry. Some of the icons may ‘flicker’ when clicked on.
Big thanks to Nopke who pioneered the technique, and Nysha who explained how it all was done. (And sorry to Memento-Sims for some of those being the same as her’s :P to be fair, I started making them on Friday.)

24 Sliders

This is a set of 24 face sliders available to use in Bodyshop, CaS and the plastic surgery machine. I tried not to recreate sliders made by other creators but I somewhat failed. This set does not contain any sliders from the 20 Sliders set.

Features

  • they create inheritable facial features (if not applied in the plastic surgery machine);
  • since Sims’ files do not contain any information about used sliders, Sims created by using custom sliders will be displayed properly and can be edited without problems even if you don’t have these sliders installed;
  • adjusted to various age groups and genders (since it isn’t possible to make a slider work perfectly with every face archetype, I’ve made it in a statistical way);
  • wherever it is possible, the sliders support low-detail faces (they’re sometimes used in order to create households thumbnails).

Contents of the set

  • 5 full face sliders:
  • cheek raise
  • upper jowl width
  • ear depth difference
  • ear shape
  • outer orbit depth
  • 1 brow slider:
  • eyebrow center shift
  • 15 eye sliders:
  • upper eyelid curve
  • upper eyelid lift
  • lower eyelid curve
  • upper eyelid shift
  • eyelid crease curve
  • eyelid crease lift
  • upper eyelid height
  • upper eyelid width
  • eye corners distance
  • eye corners height difference
  • lower eyelid shift
  • eye bag curve
  • eye bag lift
  • lower eyelid height
  • lower eyelid width
  • 1 nose slider:
  • nostril rotation
  • 1 mouth slider:
  • philtrum depth
  • 1 jaw & chin slider:
  • jaw definition

Conflicts

The sliders themselves won’t conflict with anything but their icons use a Maxis group so slider creators should be careful while setting instances for icons.

Subtle wrinkles as a layerable makeup

I needed some wrinkles subtler than anything I managed to find, and I'm pretty pleased with how these turned out!

This set consists of four different wrinkles: worry lines (on forehead), frown lines (between eyebrows), smile lines (on mouth corners), and crows feet (on eye corners). Two color variants of each, lighter and darker. The forehead ones are based on some extracted TS4 wrinkles, the others I made from scratch.

I used the darker variant on the preview to show clearly how they look like. The different colors are also layerable with each other so it's possible to combine them to get a more dramatic effect.

Download (SFS) (alternate) - files are compressed. Binned under blushes.
