Today is March 31st, and it's the 27th anniversary of the tragic passing of Selena Quintanilla Pérez. Selena was gearing up to conquer the English language music markets, opening the doors for Enrique Iglesias and Ricky Martin. But, at last, that evil monster stole her life away, and we have been reduced to a collective "what if" scenario. We will be back tonight with our retrospective on Selena., our thoughts. We plan to write about Selena, Aaliyah, Naya Rivera every year on their birthday and death anniversaries, as they were three women whose presence affected us the most. To Selena, with love.
