How do products get away with this thing where they boast "no added sugars!" and show a daily value of 0% for those 0 added sugars but just leave off the daily value for the sugars that are already there, hoping people just won't notice? I feel like the 3% dv given for the 37.5 grams of carbs is also an attempt at trickery so people will think the 37.5 grams of sugar must also be small. That's actually more sugar than you get in two Twinkies, over 70% the average recommended daily amount. And no it does not matter that it's sugar from fruit, it's still sugar!
That drink is all sugar, note that the only two other nutrients are measured in milligrams(mg) which is 1/1000 of a gram and micrograms(mcg) which is 1/1000000 of a gram. That’s practically the definition of empty calories.
For those wondering it is "watermelon water" which I chose because I did want something as sugary as soda but not soda, and it is delicious, but like so is any other sugar with some water and fruit squeezings in it and I knew just from the "NO ADDED SUGARS!" on the front of the can that the nutrition facts would try to gaslight me.

Rep. Mark Takano, who represents California’s 39th district, has reintroduced his 32-hour Workweek Act to Congress, which, if passed, would officially reduce the standard definition of the workweek from 40 hours to 32 hours by amending the Fair Labor Standards Act.
His proposal would mandate overtime pay for any work done after 32 hours, which would encourage business to either pay workers more for longer hours, or shorten their week and hire more people.
The bill applies to non-exempt workers, who typically work hourly jobs across leisure and hospitality, transportation, construction, manufacturing, wholesale, and retail trade.
This is by design, Takano tells CNBC Make It. “The serious conversations about the reduced workweek are happening for white-collar professions. What my bill will do is spur conversation about how we democratize this norm to other sectors of the workforce so everybody benefits.”
In addition to the OT wages for hourly folks cited above, this would also make 32+ hour workers ELIGIBLE FOR HEALTH INSURANCE, because a lot of companies skirt the law by scheduling folks for juuuuuuust below the minimum number of hours to qualify in order to fuck them over and pad their profit margins.
It's not universal health care, but it's a small step closer, and helps folks who have been getting fucked over.

I think the long-running fandom argument over whether The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is "grimdark" or not – e.g., yes it is, because it has tropes X, Y and Z, no it isn't, because what it does with those tropes is so deeply silly, etc. – is based on a fundamental misunderstanding of what a genre of media is.
Like, yes, genres of media typically have checklists of tropes, but a checklist of tropes isn't what a genre is. A genre of media is a dialogue, consisting of creators borrowing from and responding to and criticising each other. Insofar as it's possible to draw lines between genres at all, those lines are drawn between works that are participating in the conversation and works that aren't.
In this sense, Twilight Princess is absolutely a work of early 2000s dark fantasy – even a conventional one, in some respects. It's participating in the conversation, it's got something to say about it, and it's engaging with the tropes of contemporary dark fantasy in very specific and intentional ways. Those ways happen to be goofy as fuck.
"But doesn't that make it a parody of dark fantasy" no, because it's not particularly making fun of its source material. It's 100% serious in its goofiness. It gives us a story whose central dynamic involves a mute werewolf in a platonic D/s relationship with a goblin catgirl and expects the player to experience genuine pathos for these people, and it frequently succeeds. That it's unhinged doesn't mean it's not sincere.
