i mean a huge part of lgbt culture is the whole “it’s not a phase” and “i’m not confused" thing but that’s just not really true y'know?

like here’s to the people that have gone through countless labels, and still can’t find one that fits here’s to the people that have declared a label, but then realized that label might not be accurate here’s to the people that have to come out 1,000 times because their identity is constantly changing here’s to the people who are confused, and have gone through phases. you’re real and you’re valid.

Maybe you’re not a fighter; maybe you’re not the kind of person to march on the front lines throwing bricks, molotovs, and yelling.  That’s okay.  That’s so so so very okay.  You’re important. What’s equally as important as that are small radical acts of kindness.  Love your neighbors, love your friends.  Love yourselves.

Be there for each other, be willing to lend a helping hand or shoulder or couch.  Don’t be afraid to put yourselves out there and do what you can for your community.  Anything you can do or provide matters.  You matter.

You can help in the gentlest and most personal ways, and those matter at least as much as any protest.

A people united are so much harder to fight and tear down than individuals.  Link arms with your neighbor and they can’t break you.  They’ll never break you as long as you still care, and as long as you’re still willing to show it.

You’re important and you’re valuable, and you’re all so so dear.  You can help and you can make a difference.

You’re important.

Remember you are not powerless.

Even if tomorrow doesn’t go the way you want it to, you are not powerless. No matter what people try to tell you. You Are Not Powerless.

You are here, and this is now, and we will never stop fighting against those who wish we weren’t.

For the first time ever, networks are promising to consider the 30 most up-voted questions submitted by Americans.

Currently, it seems like FWD:FWD:Re: style conservatives are submitting and voting the most,as the top questions are more like accusations aimed at specifically Hillary, or prompts for Trump to regurgitate his favorite buzzwords.

We have the Internet too. We have a voice: let’s use it in venues outside tumblr so Trump doesn’t get more advantages.

Vote on and submit meaningful questions that challenge both candidates to talk policy.
