It's quite interesting, whilst there's this wave of wanna be stepford wives, there's no male equivalent to this AT ALL. There's no "I'm going to be a model loving financially stable husband movement"

Where are the men lining up for this lifestyle you uphold bbg?

There's actually a wave of entitled men who want a maid that sleeps with them. Whilst they barely make any money, look ugly as hell, play video games and watch porn. Men are literally becoming worse, misogyny is mainstream and seen as a joke. And your response to this is that the issue is a lack of femininity and women's independence????

This literally shows how fucking male identified these trad hypergamy hyper feminine girls are.

holy fucking shit. The American national institute of health found in a study that tracked 33,000 women over 11 years, that women who use chemical hair straightening products more than just 4 times a year, their risk of uterine cancer DOUBLES. the risk goes higher and higher the more straightening products are used. This is talking about going to the salon and them getting your hair straightened. The most impacts by far are black women, who get their hair straightened more and start straightening earlier. I'm talking, separate from this specific study, 3+ times higher lifetime risk overall of aggressive uterine cancer than women of other races.

I have talked before about how many "harmless" products like hair products, nail products, etc. Not only are poisoning women, but disproportionately affect black women, who use far more feminine products due to standards of misogynoir meaning that "natural" black women are seen as masculine and unclean and unprofessional. But women of all races are being KILLED due to femininity. People scoff at how women used to die from wearing makeup full of lead and arsenic and asbestos, but it just keeps happening over and over again.

every single time I see the “I don’t use contraceptives to not get pregnant, I use ✨lesbianism✨” bit on any wlw social media it makes me wanna fuckin hurl

it’s not cute and it’s not funny and it’s not the gotcha you think it is at the doctors, it’s transphobic and weird. I’m a bi dude with a boyfriend and we’re in a gay relationship but I’m also trans and he’s not and I have to be equally (if not more) conscientious about protection as any cis woman, and there are plenty of cis women having sex with trans women out there who also have to be thinking about the same thing. being a lesbian doesn’t automatically get you out of not worrying about pregnancy, and believe me I’ve been in the same position at the doctors — they really don’t give a fuck. just tell them your partner(s) cannot physically get you pregnant, it’s that fucking simple. but don’t use the lesbian umbrella for this, because you’re doing it wrong

No lesbian couple, no gay couple, have to do anything to avoid pregnancy. If pregnancy is something you have to take steps to avoid in your relationship, you are in a heterosexual relationship

Homosexuality is pretty stellar birth control 😎

Lesbians 🤝 Gay Men

Having sex that will never result in pregnancy.

One funny thing is that I hear so many TRAs talk about is how when you get into “higher level biology” suddenly people start saying men can be women and there’s no difference between males and females

But I was thinking about my PhD interviews and the researcher I was interviewing works in women’s health and we were talking about how female-specific issues are super underfunded, and talking about how the female body isn’t just a scaled down version of the male one, and she told me they call themselves “the ladies’ vagina club” and have that written on their door because they study vaginal models and women’s health, and that she loves walking into a conference and saying “VAGINA, CERVIX, UTERUS, VULVA” because “I love seeing the discomfort on their faces! Nobody flinches when we talk about penises, they’re just sexists who can’t stand talking about women’s bodies in a non-sexual way”, and then I went to see a woman’s thesis poster where she was talking about how they were studying immune cells in fat and how they got completely opposite data in male mice and female mice, and they showed the same gene was regulating completely different processes in male mice and female mice. Completely different! Which is unbelievably cool!

But it just made me think like… where? Where are these higher-level biologists that agree that men who’ve been operated on are indistinguishable from women? Because I’ve managed to be in medical research for years and not met a single one.

I know, right?

Trans activists keep saying “sex isn’t real! Scientists have disproven it! There’s no difference between male and female bodies!”

And it’s like… where? What scientists? What are their names? When did this happen? Why wasn’t such a game changing discovery announced anywhere but pro-trans social media?

It’s bullshit. “Higher level biology” my ass.

I am a med student, many people in my family are doctors. My mother just got her masters in biotechnology and is a awarded researcher in our country (though it doesn’t value researchers or their research much).

You know what happens in higher level biology? We learn the embrionary and genetic sexual development, its failures, the differences between the two sexes.

You know how that modifies basic biology? It doesn’t. Failures on sex development do no define sex, and in fact, are sex dependent to be classified and diagnosed. Males and females are very different, but not only in the obvious structures we can see (bones, muscles, faces, hair, what’s on our pelvis…) our immune systems are different, and so is every cell in our body because our sexual differences are expressed genetically, and thus, alter cell structure. The receptors of each cell are different, have different sensibility to hormones. Have you ever wondered why TW on average hardly get big breasts like the average actual female when on HRT? Their mammary tissue is not made to receive that much estrogen, so even if it already has few receptors, it downregulates.

Every thing we learn still come from the basic principle we’ve taken notice ever since we first perceived ourselves as humans and have come to realize how this interfered in our bodies the further biology and physiology developed: males and females have essentially different body structures.

Wait, men and women have different immune systems?

When TRAs say that nonsense, then you ask for proof, they will just say “Google is feee!”

They are trying to send you on a wild goose chase.

see I think that terfs have made the “criteria” for being a woman so thin that not even they can fit into it & in turn it causes them to not only go at each other’s throats & create chambers of self loathing

Woman (noun)

Adult human female

If you fit the three necessary conditions (age: adult; species: human; sex: female) you are a woman.

If you fit two of the three (age: subadult; species: human; sex: female), you are a girl.

Meanwhile, your cult states that “anyone who identifies as a woman is a woman, and a woman is anyone who identifies as one”. That’s cute, but it’s also a tautology — the definition of the word cannot include the word itself.

So: my definition of “woman” is predicated on observable facts.

Yours is…. Based on an invisible and unmeasurable internalized belief system, and “because I say so”.

But sure. Yours is definitely the better definition. For sure.

I love that the actual, real definition of woman as “adult human female” is so neutral and apolitical. I love that it doesn’t include shitty gender stereotypes that so many of us don’t even relate to. I love that it succinctly encapsulates half of the adult population. I love that it excludes males. It honestly couldn’t be more perfect ♥

I am sure people have talked about this before and more eloquently than me, but I think the biggest thing about drag that unsettles me is the padding. The use of padding to simulate my beasts and my hips makes me deeply uncomfortable. That's my body you are wearing as a costume. My breasts that are sexualised and my hips that I cannot change. I don't think men, any men, should be allowed to wear my body as a costume.

Breast plates - a latex version of a pair of breasts/woman’s chest, made into a shirt for a man to wear so he can imitate us. I mean seriously:

what the fuck??

On my main I saw a callout for a user calling her “terfy” for… not wanting trans men on a women only dating app. She followed all their rules, saying that as men, they shouldn’t be in a women only space. And somehow that was “terfy.” Literally you cannot win with them. Include trans men in women’s things? Terfy, you need to be more inclusive and not use language referring to women if trans men are included. Exclude trans men from women’s things? Somehow also terfy. Go figure

Women need to realize they are always one step away from being a terf. Get a little too opinionated on things as a woman… Pretty terfy.

Time we all start to acknowledge this witch-hunt for the misogynistic shit show it is; even if you’re not a radfem, this should concern you.

I don’t want to focus on trying to make men more benevolent and care more about women, I want to get women out of situations where they have to rely on the benevolence of men in order to live, and I want to get men who don’t believe in the humanity of women out of positions where they get to decide anything about women, and stop letting men benefit from the exploitation of women. You wouldn’t say “We need to teach the rich to care about the poor”

gay men don’t call straight men homophobic for not sleeping with them though

whenever these ppl compare us calling them out to homophobia they are really showing us how they see us imo. like when they say “well homosexuality also used to be classified as a mental disorder :/”.. so you think gay ppl being attractted to someone is only as natural and healthy as being delusional, believing in “souls” and needing external medical inervention..?

I wonder if TRAs will ever come up with arguments for themselves that don’t piggyback off of the struggles of others. It’s always “if you don’t want trans women in female changing rooms then you’re just like a white supremacist hurting black people!” and “acknowledging that some trans people pressure homosexuals into relationships and sex is exactly the same as when religious conservatives call gay men pedophiles!”

absolutely love the way leftists talk about women as property to be violated and defiled! no I don’t think there’s a woman-hating problem on the left…….. this is actually a very normal way to talk about half the human population

Gee I sure do love being a cryptid.

Ah being a trans person in fandoms and trying to side step everybodies bullshit just to get to see yourself in a character. Btw this is why we need way more trans characters in media, because even when we try to make our own connections we get told we aren’t allowed to

Destroy gender roles, NOT gender identity

Destroy gender roles, NOT gender identity

As long as we are influenced by and socialized into the former, it is impossible to distinguish the latter as an inborn, innate quality uninfluenced by patriarchy. That is not to say we can’t rise above gender roles, it is to say that it’s impossible to identify into a category you don’t have lived experience as. It’s also rude and uncalled for to project your gender identity onto characters established by an author as gay.

Yeah literally nothing in those comics is transphobic. Youre all just self entitled narcissists with cognitive dissonance who are so expectant of the world to gas you up and feed your delusions that the objective truth feels insulting to you. Notice how 2/3 of the figures meant to be portrayed as antagonistic are women too 👀

Before I get called transphobic or a “terf”, I am literally trans. I just have the capability of thinking for myself. I really don’t see anything wrong with what the “antagonist” is saying here. She’s (interesting how the “baddie” is a woman) logical, sensible, and makes an intelligent argument against why the other woman thinks she’s a man without attacking her. She’s the only person with a brain in this comic. This comic doesn’t make the point the creator was hoping to make.

terfdom is deeply rooted in plain old misogyny. like, obviously its rooted in transmisogyny, and it encourages violence towards tranfems and that is its Main Thing but also how can you say shit like “A woman is defined by her ability to reproduce, actually.” and “women cant be bad because testosterone is The Reason Men Are Bad and estrogen makes you into a Woman Who Is The Kind Counterpart” and not see the blatant misogyny. ANY claim saying that women are the way they are because of hormones and shit is blatantly ignoring the genuine complexities of womanhood!

@morithemoth tell me you can't tell the difference between these nearly identical faces:

Even tho they are nearly identical your brain still is able to detect which is female and which is male. We're supposed to be able to tell without needing to look in someone's pants. We're evolutionarily designed to do so. Sexual dimorphism is observed in almost every single species known. Humans are not more special than any other species.

So now I know that the 'all sex is rape' hasn't actually been said by any feminist from the 1970s (apparently a myth to scare women away from feminism) but like when I first heard it, I always interpreted as 'how can women truly consent when they are not equal to men' like I feel like like the quote kinda does make sense.

Like suppose I decide to date a man, perhaps you can consider it consensual from a legal and leftist perspective. Like I wasn't physically threatened or financially threatened, but am I really consenting the way he is consenting? How can we equate our consents' if I've been raised from infancy to believe romance with a man is the key to happiness and fulfillment? Meanwhile he's been raised to believe he will be happy regardless?

That is exactly what it means! When women are socialised to be subordinate to men in every way from birth, can we truly consent to sex with them? When our sexualities and desires are so distorted by male dominance, can we ever really know what we want and if we are actually attracted to men?

OH MY GOSH that notion was so off putting to me at first because it seemed so extreme, but it actually does make sense given context. It obviously doesn’t mean all sex is rape in a literal sense, but rather in the sense that your average heterosexual relationship, especially before the 1970s, was not truly egalitarian in nature. Not only because women were manipulated into it so often from birth under the guise of it being their own desire—but also because until 1975, every state had a “marital exemption” for rape. Marital rape was not made illegal in all 50 states until 1993.

Back then, almost all sex between heterosexual couples might as well have been rape and we would never know nor would we have recognized it. Women had very little legal bodily autonomy at the time. It didn’t matter if women consented or not in the eyes of the law as long as they were married. The historical context of that quote is INCREDIBLY important.

I had a similar initial reaction to John Stoltenberg’s book “Refusing To Be A Man”. The title seems off-putting if you don’t put thought into it, but the book is actually about resisting the traditionally male practice of abusing and objectifying women. It’s about refusing to associate yourself with socially constructed ideas of manhood that are based around the oppression of women, it isn’t a misandristic statement.

As much as I love Andrea Dworkin and John Stoltenberg I REALLY wish they didn’t choose to word things in such an initially inflammatory way because I hate having my views dismissed because of my perceived extremism and having to guide people through the philosophical and cultural implications of their generalizations sejfiskjfej

This is one of the things that I see most often used to dismiss radfems and anything they ever said ever. So if I may.

As you said Andrea Dworkin never said "all sex is rape". But in the context of her time and other womens experiences - it was often shortened this way.

I love this addition ⬆️

Why do people treat slurs and the most violent words used against us as this like holy ground of validation

Gay trauma is like the final frontier of kweer validation culture and it makes me want to barf

just saw a TERF call themself “dysphoric but still female”

that’s fucking sad, you’re a trans man in deep denial forcing yourself to exist in a body you hate, poor thing

I’m really not. My dysphoria doesn’t make me trans if I don’t believe in gender.

well its not a belief, you’re just crazy and will die hating your own skin, i am truly sorry

Prove me crazy then, if you have so much proof

gender dysphoria is researched and proven to exist, the body and brain CAN be mismatched, i have felt an emptiness in my abdomen where my uterus should be ever since i was a little kid, and i’m sure you are feeling the same thing but you believe in dogmatic gender critical beliefs so you will never act on your emotions and will die miserable

The irony of calling gender critical beliefs “dogmatic” when you just said you could “feel” your ~missing uterus~.

I literally cannot feel my uterus until it cramps. It just exists in there like any other organ. You only “feel” it if it hurts and my mom who has had a hysterectomy doesn’t feel “emptiness” in her abdomen. That’s not a thing. And then he’s calling YOU crazy??

I feel sorry for YOU for being so delusional.

Hating your body doesn’t=you are deep down something else that you don’t hate. You’re just lying to yourself. :/

you want me to stay in a body i hate, you just think its funny that i’m miserable and are using pseudoscience to sound smart

Absolutely no one cares what you do with your body, we care about the bullshit ideology you peddle and the fact that you are claiming feeling bad makes you something else, that’s just not how it works.

As someone with body dysmorphia, I feel for the pain of hating yourself but you called someone else self-hating… for deciding to deal with their mental health by being honest with themselves.

And you’re the one spouting pseudoscience 👀

What you have is a gender specific body dysmorphia. It’s a mental health issue and I want you to deal with it however you want and can, but not be an asshole or a misogynist or a liar in the process, can you do that?

Also your “"proof”“ was literally your subjective feeling

Dysphoria doesn’t prove the body and brain are “mismatched” it proves a hatred of the body. Anorexics and bulimics suffer from dysphoria as well, but it’s not because they’re actually overweight, it’s because dysphoria is a symptom of mental illness.

If there were such thing as a “male brain” or a “female brain” there wouldn’t be therapy and consultations before someone were cleared for medical transition, they would do a brain scan to prove the brain was “in the wrong body,” and you could be scheduled for your sterilization that very day.

If a brain and body were mismatched anyway, the bodies would produce mismatched hormones. A male body would develop breasts at puberty because it’s “female brain” would be triggering estrogen production via the endocrine system, but it doesn’t. A female body with a “male brain” in it would be developing facial hair at that time, and WOULDN’T be developing breasts.

“Mismatched brain” was just something dysphoric people used to say to try to get everyone else to understand their symptoms, they didn’t mean it was LITERALLY true. Kids on the internet with 0 education just got the wrong idea and now it’s a political dogma. Get a grip.

> i have felt an emptiness in my abdomen where my uterus should be ever since i was a little kid ….wut
