hi gang while I obviously don't own the photos i post here, and I don't care if you post them on other sites like the bird app, I would really appreciate if you don't just wholesale repost them as new posts on here, especially the same day I post them. it may seem like not a big deal but i do extract, de-watermark (which sometimes involves sitting there with the paintbrush on photoshop, depending on how bad the watermark is, like the obnoxious alamy and shutterstock ones), fix exposure and resize them for tumblr which does take time, it's not like I 1:1 slap them off getty or whatever onto here. i'm not just downloading them from an article. like is it photo p*racy? it sure is! so it is fair game to use them for whatever you want - that's why i went to the effort of dewatermarking them and posting them so they're not stuck behind a paywall and everyone can enjoy it without branding all over someone's face. but I can tell when it's my edits that you're reuploading as just a brand new post taken from mine because of my recolouring and resizing to tumblr dimensions, lol. i don't really care about getting the notes for it, but it is kinda jarring to see my exact post repackaged a few hrs later with some comment that could have just been in the tags. i do get if like the photo has gone on an adventure and you got them off the bird app from someone else, though. but just something to bear in mind, yeah? like if they've been at an event, my ass WILL post the photos if someone else hasn't already skgjrnkr (and if i haven't, give me a heads up and i'll grab them for ya!). but like. just reblog it.
